One GCD for way less pressure and a wasted chain is worth it big time imo.

Not really. You need 30 points in the balance tree (which buff only the druid magical damage) to get moonkin form. So what's the point in spending 30 pts in magical talents and go melee?
Better take those points and go feral, they do crazy damage too and have much more melee skills.
Sorry, not used to have comments. Yes the main strat is kill the dps. This keep or health somwhere way up and the healer is always easier to control, imagine we trying to CC a rogue, for example, Cloak of shadows and we are both doomed. Healers are harder to kill ^^

they give u that huge attack power because when u melee it regens ur mana based off of your attack power. it was blizzes answer to outofmanakin

the +150 AP in moonkin form is just to aid with the mana gain each time you melee

About the wrath spam, I rather use Starfire when I can, + damage, + mana effic and 15% chance to stun. This was before patch 2.4 of course.
