  • Thanks for the journey and I even made it back before dinner

  • This guy would fit in well with Camel, The Snow Goose anyone?

  • Time passes by way to fast.

  • If you have at least a small amount of feeling, this beautiful music will make your skin goose...and if you connect the music with some of your life story, it will drop tears from your eyes - and this is the way music should be, to catch your emotions and feelings, tell you a story and make you speachless for a moment...thanks Pino !

  • fucking skanks dislikers

  • How does he remember all this O.o

  • Serj Tankian gone acoustic.

  • either i'm on acid, or those strings are. i can't tell.

  • Can anybody explain the string waves ?? I tried in my guitar but the strings don't do waves like that.

  • @virtuoz17 its cuz his strings are really baggy

  • @virtuoz17 Here's just a guess - it has to do with the frames per second in which the camera was set at when shooting the video - and a strobe like effect - plus the back lighting, how the camera is pointing toward the window. Maybe ask rpoland if the camera was set to 24 fps, 30 fps, or 60 fps. Plus between all the strings the 6th moves the longest distance laterally, so it's the sampling of the camera somehow getting in sync with that and the lighting. Anyone else - thoughts?

  • WTF kind of guitar does a wave instead of a circle??!

  • During these 7 minutes I had to remember every time my body to breathe. I forgot to do ...

  • @MattiaMarzapane well you cant do two things at once. so its your decision, watch the video, or breathe. your choice

  • type in the youtube search bar - "rainy mood". Then listen to this

  • When love became music...

  • Pino, you are not like a boss, you ARE a boss

  • Phenomenal!!!!

  • why is Giuseppe shortened to Pino? anyway, I digress; nice music Pino :)

  • Camera angles in the first thirty seconds killed! The light bounces off those strings phenomenally

  • He even doesnt get 0.5% views of "Australian idol - Best Guitar solo,, EVER!! " XD

  • @Cwyntz people are stupid!

  • 5:00 and beyond reminds me of the Flower OST, where even the silence between notes is just as effective as the notes themselves

  • ale zjebane to jest!

  • Photoshop nie boli...

  • Watch the bottom 3 strings in the first 30 seconds of the video.

  • This is beautiful. All the artists on this label seem to have such honest souls, and all they have to do is let it out. I understand how a lot of people may not "get" this type of music...it's definitely for a certain demographic, but the themes and emotions are pretty universal once you open yourself up to it.

  • wonderful abstention, devastating control!

il maestro could play the most awful drum 'n bass only on his silent six strings.

  • This guy is the Philip Glass of acoustic guitar.

  • It's like his strings are serpents.

  • That's one sloppy A-string! :o

  • magnificent

  • 4 people undoubtedly don't know musicianship and true talent when they see it...

  • By the way, what tuning is this? Someone tell me? this is very surreal...

  • @ShinSUREYOUCAN

    D A C E B E (low to high)

    :)

  • @gurreu Thanks!

  • WATHAFAAAAAKKKK!!!!

  • this man truly expresses passion through his guitar. This music is makes me feel incredible.

  • The most awesome channel - makes me feel better anytime.

  • that guy has huge hands

  • BRAVO, PINO, BRAVO. ERES GRANDE ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Awesome music but his hands remind me of Nosferatu. =/

  • Very hypnotizing, in neither a good or bad way...but good for falling asleep.

  • This is a progressive song: It moves forward, telling a story, and reinforces the main story elements in the return to the familiar notes of the beginning.

  • Nice !

  • 5:37 ---> Beautiful.

  • ok...where's number 6???

  • 2:57-3:08

    Why Not

  • How did they filmed this effect of string vibration at 0:09?

  • @zhmm6497 Camera records at a very high frame-rate

  • @kamakazibmx Is it? Maybe it's just very low exposure? Everything looks too dark, maybe it is, i'm not sure about it.

  • @zhmm6497 that's the miracle of expensive cameras =D

  • Excellent contemplative guitar music. This guy clearly has a lot on his mind.

  • good playing , but nothing that stands out for me .never been a big fan of pino, nonetheless keep it up many seem to enjoy this!

  • volume up, lights down.......serenity

  • Well, once again some of you people with your comments are missing a true renaisance in all this wonderful acoustic music coming from CandyRat Records artist. Remember some of us where around when the Beatles first hit the scheme ! Some of us where AT Woodstock ! Some of us, well where not around when Mozart and Bach had to get permission to write certain types of music. This MAN, l say Bravo MAESTRO !!

  • I would love to hear Pino do multi-instrumental compositions. I think it would be phenomenal. Like, imagine this song with violins soaring softly behind the guitar and some cymbal splashes with gentle snare rolls. Perhaps some piano as well. I mean yeah, he can't play all of that live but it would sound awesome on a recording.

  • @mobman47 You cant hear them already?

  • @mobman47 on his record before this one he has a composition called 'Why Not?', which is done with an orchestra! :)

  • @mobman47 You might want to check out his composition "Why Not?" as it's Pino backed by an ensemble. Guitars and violins go surprisingly well together!

  • @mobman47 He recorded the title track Why Not? on his third album with a string orchestra - well worth checking out!

  • Pino's fingers are bigger than my leg O_o lol

  • Pino Forastiere...ma come ti vesti!!!!!!!!...Ti aspettiamo in Sicilia...Grazie Maestro

  • thats a guitarist who uses his ten fingers, litteraly

  • He should collaborate with Igor!!!

  • @Dominitrix69 are you serious?

  • This right here is Forastiere's magnum opus, a truly wonderful piece.

  • Sorry. Is technically perfect but is also boring.

  • Sorry. Is technically perfect but boring.

  • Sorry. Is technically perfect but boring.

  • the string waves in the first 30 seconds blow my mind

  • @ThOrnton42421 Right?! I think to myself "how is that happening?" at 4:20 as well.

  • @ThOrnton42421 yup. Bot how is this possible? A effect or what?

  • @babbersabber Look up "Rolling Shutter"

  • @keixoun thank you.

  • Can't really say I enjoy his all his offbeat melodies. But he does hit those harmonics absolutely perfectly.

  • Thank you Pino. Your music expands the universe in beautiful ways.

  • Whoa. I think I might have to buy the CD / MP3s.

  • Beautiful!!!

  • Go to rainymood(dot)com, come here and listen this masterpiece.

  • I was stressed, but then I started listening to this song, it's amazing, so relaxing.

    Awesome work.

  • Fabulous ! but I would love to know what tunning you use to play with your awsome technique.Wonderful talent.....

  • This is the best Christmas present Candyrat could give me. :)

  • What a beautiful tune. So relaxing and peaceful. You have a wonderful touch! Well done! Cheers, BB

  • sweet...

  • Wow

  • HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR STRINGS WOBBLE LIKE THAT?!?!

  • @STCJCAC the lower the tuning, the more wobbly the strings are :)

  • @STCJCAC it's because of the camera, not the guitar.

  • @STCJCAC They are tuned down a little so maybe that is how. I don't know for sure.

  • Un fucking real man. BEAUTIFUL!

  • This is brilliant.

  • EXTRATERRESTRIAL !

  • How was your job at Black Mesa?

  • I bought the album.

  • Pino, sei italiano? :)

  • @Cremesis89

Mi sa proprio che lo è. O almeno credo..

  • I didn't know serj tankian played guitar?

  • @StraightCrossing I realize you are trying to make a joke here, but Serj Tankian is multi-instrumentalist. He can play everything from guitar to keyboard and everything in between.

  • as john lennon would say, "you may say im a dreamer, but im not"

  • I can't wait to get this album. From what I've heard so far this could be Pino's finest yet.

  • He looks somehow like Serj Tankian from System of a down :D

  • Before he had a kings crown on his tuner, now has a fish swallowing his low E tuner.

  • Michael Hedges once said "I'm not trying to play guitar, I'm trying to play music." Nothing against anyone else, but I don't know of any person alive today who embodies that same spirit more than Pino. Simply, amazing.

  • @Indist1nct

You should read victor L wootens' book "The music lesson", says alot about that "spirit" you are talking about :)

  • wassup with the strings!?

  • Studio n.7 D2 A2 C3 E3 B3 E4

  • so beautiful:)

  • Best man on candyrat!

  • is that normal tuning ??

  • @IbraheemIsmail No, not sure what tuning but not standard

  • I could listen to this all day long.

  • Fantastic work, one of your best

  • People. Take some time to explore this composition. Listen to it a few times. It will reveal itself to you. It's deep and complex. It's worth it! BRAVO Pino. :)

  • @jongomm Oh my word, it is actually Jon Gomm :) Sir you are incredible. My hat goes off to you

  • This is how good you get when you live breathe and play guitar everyday of your life, and have an amazing talent that is

  • I love how he smiles while playing...

  • Well in the zone.

  • Awesome...

  • I cried.

  • 400 clips!

This has to be the best channel on YT.

  • thank you for such a calming music...

  • bello Pino bellissimo!

  • Magnifico.

  • 2 people broke their guitars while trying to play this

  • I keep thinking of what he is plugged into to get that responce to play so lightly yet it is so huge. If it sounds this good on YT it must be outrageiously huge in head phones or in the room, then again it can not be loud due to feed back...excellente engineering and filming. I think he is telepathicly playing chess with someone from another planet in his head while he is playing and he's winning! Maximum Respect

  • @loowood2 the sound is a little bit more electric than typically. A lot of sunrise magnetic pickup + nickel strings.

  • how can you not like this???

  • I think I have to buy the CD now

  • I thought the song was lulling me to sleep but I think it was more that I forgot to breath for 7 minutes... beautiful

  • he reminds me of the way I play, only 100x better and he actually knows what he's doing, lol. Great inspiration man, thank you and keep it up!!~

  • what happened to n.6?

  • what is the tuning?

  • 2:07 is so Michael Hedges, love it

  • Lol at the little fish on the Neck Key?

  • Is he italian?

  • @zacker1897 Indeed he is.

  • @HandiAce I knew playing assassin creed will open my mind to italian names :) thanks.

  • this guy is awesome!

  • Are you sure that you are not asian? Haha! This is the best playing I've heard this year. You're great.

  • How long does one have to play a guitar so make such wonderful music? I can only listen in awe.

  • like everytime, you share a very great Music, thks so much (^o^)

  • what is the tuning?

  • The person that disliked this has no soul...

  • I am always amazed by Pino. Absolutly amazing.

  • nice... very nice! now i take my guitar... thanks!

  • really good one

  • Whats up with the strings, so wavy? must be pretty loose

  • I wish more people were capable of composing such beautiful music. This guy's way ahead of his time.

  • @HarryMurrell Sadly You need to do Alot of sacrifice to be able to Reach this level of Playing :S

At least some do make those Sacrifices :)

  • @HarryMurrell I think most people are just behind on the times.

  • gimmie that number 8 haha love this stuff, glad i found this channel a few months back

  • 0:21 6th string looks trippy

  • @UFOXERT and that's how you know if it's a good camera

  • @UFOXERT rolling shutter :) probably filmed with a DSLR.

  • @UFOXERT agreed....it also sorta shows you how sound travels through that string.......but trippy indeed.

  • from 0:15 - 0:25 focus on the strings

  • @2de2tnk2 My brain!!!

  • u-n-g-l-a-u-b-E-l-i-c-h ...

  • so beautiful. :')

  • i can only wish to be as good as this.
