  • I would have liked it if the ending was different, just my opinion ;) Otherwise it was an entertaining movie. I love Sam Raimi's sense of humor!

  • I DESIRE THE SOUL OF CHRISTINE BROWN!

  • Love Drag Me To Hell, greaaaat movie. =D

  • CHRISTOPHER YOUNG FTW!!!! THE GRUDGE FOREVER!!

  • I love the violin in this song

  • @Pegcity03 It simply gives you chills!

  • EPIC

  • When I started playing this song.... I swear to god! A big ass fly landed on my computer screen.... I just sat here watching it holding still, cuz I didn't know what the hell to do!

  • Is this the music from the last scene? That's the track I've been hunting for. :P

  • Movie was 'meh', mostly suck due to plot-holes, lapses of logic, unnecessary cat-killing and Sam Raimi. Music saved it along with the talking goat, dancing demon and over-the-top-ity the movie took sometimes.

  • haha you fat girl,, you will burn like a pig in the fire

  • @zantox100 I DON'T WANT YOUR CAT, YOU FILTHY PORK QUEEN!!

  • 00:16 amazing violin

  • They should play this song when people are lining up to be thrown into hell. Imagine the devils standing there loking at you, this song being played and the whole atmosphere is dark as fuck. It'd be one hell of a BBQ.

  • So - is that the "Rock Ballad", by Lalo Schifrin? Or what?

  • @janok2 No. The Rock Ballad is a completely different track.

You can faintly hear it in the diner scene.

  • Does anyone have sheet music for that? For violin. (:

  • When i saw 'DRAG ME TO HELL' i thought u were referring to after you listen to Friday...

  • 4 people must be ear-blind

  • This shrill violin is irresistibly creepy.

  • @ALostClassic Yep....the violin is the devil's instrument and perfectly fitting for this film.

  • Does anyone know the trailer music?

  • I just love any music from Christopher Young so full darkness.

  • omg this is hauntingly beautiful!

  • How come a movie this bad, can have such great music?

  • @superskummel I don't know where you thought this movie was bad. It was Sam Raimi! Pure awesomeness...it was dark, had comedy and some good jump scares. Part of Raimi's genius is that most of his films aren't aimed at the masses. They are purposely made to be out there...FAR OUT THERE. He's a cult film director...and a damn good one.

  • I don't understand . When I saw this movie in the theaters I thought it was more funny than scary but still a good film but when I saw it alone in my home theater with my projector shooting onto my wall with an 80 inch picture This movie scared the hell (no pun intended) out of me! My friend told me "it was because I was by myself this time ! "

  • SONG .. what name??

  • @insane0071001 lol check the title. "Concerto to hell"

  • an error in the end was clay had the button so christine should of got hit by the train whilst clay got taken to hell

  • @Theogmeo123 It's not an error, actually. Just because he was holding the button doesn't mean it belonged to him. He only ended up with it because of the mix up with the envelopes, thus it was never formally given to him.

  • @Theogmeo123 he also tried to give it back, asserting that it was not his, that it was hers

  • @Theogmeo123 how do u know?

  • @kiarules33 How was it funny?

  • @Theogmeo123 lamia wanted her soul..

  • @Theogmeo123 Maybe try to do more thinking before you trash a movie's ending. :)

  • I saw this in theaters and everyone except the guard was screaming like little girls. LOL

  • u are fu**ing AWESOME for loading this!!! Ive literally been looking everywhere for it. Thanks so much!

  • The violin section of this piece honestly sums up the WHOLE feeling of the movie within 30 seconds... Christopher Young is a freakin genius

  • When I listen to this I can imagine free falling into hell, it creeps me out.

  • Comment removed

  • @Mikester283 Yeah, I totally know what u mean! Especially when the violin starts playing @ 2:47

  • @Mikester283 Creepy

  • ending to this movie is classic

  • @bennihana123 Agreed, 100%

  • @bennihana123 Very much so

  • When you hear this song playing near you one day, it is a sure sign that you are, indeed, going to hell soon. :)

  • wish I was taken to hell

  • Does anyone know where I kind find sheet music for this? c: Thanks.

  • ...wow, very enchanting! I love this theme! 8D

  • im gone post a guitar cover to this beatiful peice of music

  • anyone know the song at the end the very first one when the movie ends and it plays the song??

  • I LOVE IT!!!! its like my dark side or smth!

  • this movie was so kickass

  • It sums up the whole movie! Best original score I've heard so far.

  • This piece of music won the 2009 IFMCA (International Film Music Critics Association) Award in the Best Cue category ! And it's awesome, indeed.

  • @quentinlebegue Well, at least after the way the Academy gypped this and A Single Man, it's great a branch of people who actually know good film music recognized the two best scores of last year.

  • i wish i could have the violin part played at my wedding

  • me gusta mucho la banda sonora de esta pelicula en especial esta cancion

  • y yo también

  • the soundtracks are the best!the movie also rocks!

  • Best of the soundtrack

  • WOW

  • Amazing, That´s one of the greatest film music ever!

  • Fucking Great

  • Goose bumps all over everytime i play it. I am in a personal hell at the moment and it is perfect . Inner turmoil and a long dark walk in the spiritual wilderness in an incredible musical format.

  • I am not asking anyone to care about my high school problems. Music is very important in my life and sometimes it touches my soul in a very deep way and i love this music so much i just wanted to share my feelings about it.

  • I admire anyone who can do maths but i thought that would of expanded your mind. Instead you come across as narrow minded and self obsessed. Despite my troubles i enjoy life and embrace it in all it's diversity. To me music is the heartbeat of life and i am sorry that you appear to be so dead.

  • Shut up!! KAKitten74 doesn't deserve your false sympathy.

  • True. No music, no life. Listening to Drag Me To Hell just feels invigorating in the world of the supernatural.

  • I'm in high school, and I like your opinion.

Music like this theme just makes me feel like I have a monstrous, dark side inside me that was hidden deep within my soul.

I play this on bad days @ school. So that's when I get those feelings.

  • Don't listen to iuliusceasar. I love music, as well.

  • i'm goin to learn this on the violin,it's rlly easy to do it by ear, i got the first part covered from the solo

  • Think you can give us a video of you playing the Drag Me To Hell Theme on violin and another video of how to do it (A TUTORIAL)

  • prolly, it's gnna b hard to make the tutorial cuz i suck @ explaining....lol

  • Drag Me to Hell completely redeemed Sam for the cinematic abortion that was Spider Man 3. This music went a long way to compliment the rest of the film, and did a superb job. And I found Christine to be an extremely sympathetic character...

  • HELP ME, PLEEEAAAAASE!!!

  • this is a great concerto i watch the movie and had to get this song ASAP o and those2noobs ur an idiot didnt anyone tell u not 2 speak wen u dont know wat ur talking about

  • This is one of those themes where you feel EMO, but deep down inside, you're actually feeling evil, dark, hated, misunderstood and lonely in a living hell.

  • The movie was great but the music is very impressive.

I like it when the violin starts playing at 2:47 through to 4:12 because the way it plays reminds me of the first Evil Dead movie. Everytime I hear it, all I can see is Bruce Campbell in the cabin ready to take on the dark forces that has possessed his friends.

Thanks for uploading this good piece of music.

  • anyone knows where i can get the violin sheet?

    would be really nice ;)

  • Very Thanks,,, this song is really nicee!!

  • i found christine to be an unlikeable character

  • Because?

  • @RinluJedi He can eat it. I would love to eat sheet music.

  • I would like the sheet music for this soundtrack

  • Every time I play this at school on my cell phone, everybody thinks I'm a monster.

  • Reminds me of people doing hard labor in old Russia.

  • Love how they incorporated the gypsy melodies with the theme. One of the best theme songs to a horror movie.

  • This really does sound like something that Hell's choir would sing.

  • so miss Gunush went straight to heaven then ? ? horrible bitch

  • Probably she met Christine in Hell :))

  • @Eustake - If Clay now has the button, then he's basically the owner. So a three hellish days later, Clay will meet with Christine in hell.

  • @LeopardGeckoTree I don't think it works like that. I assume - from the way they spoke - that as soon as the cursed person is taken to Hell, the actual curse leaves the object.

  • @LeopardGeckoTree He may have the button but the only problem is he didn't encounter a gypsy yet to give him the curse.

True, once Clay goes to Hell, at least Christine won't be along. He'll be joining her in Hell

  • I dont think you can practice black magic and expect to get in to heaven after you die. Pretty sure Gunush was waiting for Christine in hell.

  • At 4:16-6:00 I imagine Christine and the Lamia landing before the City of Dis, and then the Lamia bundling Christine into the City itself, and then at 5:40 I imagine the Doors of the City of Dis slamming shut behind Christine, trapping her for eternity

  • What's the City of Dis?

  • The Capital of Hell. It's a circular city, on the edge of the Sixth Circle of Hell, bordering the Sixth Circle from the final two Circles. Dis is the hottest place in Hell - it is essentially a burning pit filled with demonic mosques and black temples.

  • I've always loved the theme of "Drag Me To Hell", I mean the main theme from the 1st track. It should be reused to make Revan's theme as Darth Revan. Not with all the screechy violins.

  • *SPOILER* After I've seen the ending I kept smashing my head against the wall, it was soo cruel :(

    BUT SAM&IVAN RAIMI ROX!!!!!!!!

  • una delle più belle colonne sonore di tutti i tempi!

  • This music makes me imagine flying violins playing in a dark room

  • Cool.... which of these is the song playing at the end during.... you know.... the moment of realization ;)

  • they said the lamia take your soul to hell, but well literally it takes all your freaking body to it

  • lol soul and body included

  • Comment removed

  • @RinluJedi i dont know what you mean if you burn in hell for eternity your still alive like you dont die u just are in hell

  • @999nick1 Sorry. I know. I'm not making much sense, am I?

This movie version of the Lamia is not the same as the original Greek mythology.

  • Lovezemovie

  • it is just awesome..

  • i wish they put the theme on "Evil Dead" movies on it.

  • I just wish I could find the "Ragtime" music from ED 1.

  • the first part reminds me of the theme of the game bioshock "welcome to rapture"... really nice piece of music.

  • Incredible!!

  • what song is this

  • It's called "Concerto to Hell."

It played during the closing credits.

  • Is it true that this piece was actually written for The Exorcist but wasn't used? Or did I just make that up?

  • I honestly have no idea. I've never heard the unused Exorcist score.

  • "Lalo Schifrin's "The Exorcist Symphony" never used (except for one trailer for The Exorcist (1973)) is used over the end credits to "Drag Me to Hell" - from trivia on the movie on Imdb.

  • i love it

  • Thank you so much for posting this soundtrack! Did not know what to expect when I first saw this movie but I ended up loving it along with everyone else in the theater. Definitely awesome to see a movie elicit so much audience participation/reaction.

  • Oh man, I had the same theater experience! It was absolutely wonderful, literally the only movie I've seen where the people in the theater actually talked about it at the end of the movie.

Really fun movie with an awesome audience, cool to see that other people shared that as well.

  • I loveed it so much! But you know, watching it in a dark room, and having it super loud makes all the difference on how scary it is!

  • LOVE IT

best horror film of the decade

  • I like this movie so much! It had all that i've expected, classic creepy stuff. It reminded me of the 80's, wich had some of the best scaring movies, including the classic Universal Logo.

  • This movie had some comic relief but it still scared the shit out of me, awesome movie!

  • Same here, I was hanging on the edge of my seat the whole movie. Lamia was scaaary, the shadows and such, and then the classical Sam Raimi humor thrown in there too.

  • music awsome too

  • You are awesome thankyou.
