  • good idea. the guy is a nob though

  • But does it blend?

  • 2:06 Epic Face!

  • @jamesdancer73

    cum face???????????

  • Do i need to buy two for the top and the bottom?

  • this guy makes great faces

  • Nice concept for a studio kit. I have a four piece in my studio and had a session last week where we lost about an an hour while the drummer played with tuning between songs. It really messed with the flow of the session.

  • LOL.

  • wouldnt you have to buy lugs and hoops for each size tom thats on your kit?

  • @metalliclark no, the whole assembly fits under the existing tuning rods and hoop.

  • e' un sistema copiato alla diberardinodrums brevetto fatto nel 2000 made in italy

  • Just ordered these for my DW 12" & 16" toms. We'll see how it works out.

  • how are the brackets at each lug tightening the head as a cable gets tight horizontally?

  • @zash008 Im not sure, either the by turing the drum key thing, it moves the cabel downward, or it works by squeezing it. I would like to have em but im sure they cost 20 bucks each or something.

  • I really don't believe this. He just does the same as manual ear tuning but with another tool and only 2 bolts a tom. You still have to know what the right sound is for a tom, you should make a tool for that!

  • how do you fix the head if it comes out of tune? do you just loosen the cable and start over or does it even come out of tune?

  • I think an ear works pretty well. Actually, it works perfectly.

  • Feh, I tune by ear. I get some tightscrews and the tuning stays place. Much less money than outfitting a kit with all that stuff.

Although the video did make me want a pair of those Instanbul sultan hihats.

  • I just have one question about these...since they snap on, how would you get them off to change the head of the drum?

  • ajajajaja tghat is a very good question.. dont worry they will soon come out with an add on package that will alow you to take the cable off, for maybel ike $40 per cable..

  • Wow, an innovation that actually works...

... I wonder how much they are each, especially considering you buy 2 per drum.

  • there like 35 bucks per head

  • Ouch! That could easily get to over $300 for even a smallish kit

  • i no! and i have a 6 piece. so im gonna be savin for a while...if its even worth it!

  • drum dial is the best method period...

  • i wouldnt buy that piece of shit anyday

  • yea but does this work with the new tama starclassic mounting system on the birch bubinga hybrid kit.......

  • It sounds ok, what i would do is buy one of these and a drumdial, then use it to find your tone, measure the tension and remove it and try to get that tension yourself =] now its affordable and it doesn't take too much skill out of tuning.

  • does the dts have to remain on the drum or can u put it on, tune the drum, then take it off?

  • man, i wouldnt mind that at all.. im just wondering if it's harmful to the drum shell or hoop.. if it's not id love to get an endorsement from them!! haha and if not, i'll make my own!! haha

  • no thanks i have an 8 piece that wld be way too expensive

  • fuck that

  • I guess for professionals thats nothing compared to their kit or their cymbals :0

  • yea. i was just sayin.

  • that is amazing!

  • well i mean if i had a 5 peice kit, id only get em for the toms. the bass drums pretty easy, the snare is whatever, but im really bad with toms. so i mean it depends on how much you think you can do on your own.

  • are they any good?

    that would be pretty convinient...

  • do you have to have them on both the bottom and the top drum heads

  • Sick!I need to get these becuase we record a billion different kinds of songs on our new 8 track!

  • i have this and it fucking rocks! its amazing

  • wow, amazing ! a great improvement in drum tuning !

  • THIS SHIT IS AWSOMEE !!
