It could be a few reasons. Considering it is season one, which could also be considered freshman year, it would make sense because entry level classes are usually 100s.

It could also be because 101 is the typical format for listing season and episode number. The first one in 101 lists the season number and the 01 means episode one. For season two, the first episode would be 201.

the commentary about directing a conversation goes to the 201 episode and i also wanna say these actors are magnificient i mean they blow me away very talented very likeable although sometimes they need better directing concerning the storyline well im not jumping up and down about it anyway to end this on a good note i say well done to all those that make this enjoyable series

i love this mockumentary i think its very well done overall although has some weaknesses here and there i think that directing is a little bit poorly done for example when ur filming a conversation u film it from a third person's perspective u go back and forth like a viewer in a tennis stadium instead u should do closeups of each of the actor's faces. so very small space with so many things to say! i think its the first succesful attempt on utube of anything that could come close to a tv sitcom
