Transformers Opening Titles: Beast Wars Season 1

What's funny is the fact that in Beast Wars and Beast Machines, the Transformers could scan animals, whereas in later versions, the Transformers could only scan machines (counting out Leo Breaker from Transformers Cybertron).

BW was my favorite show when I was a kid. It used to be broadcasted here, in France, when I was 5 or 6... and then Pokemon replaced it. If you ask me, I'll tell you that's a shame.

Beast Wars was definitely a great series though it took a little time to catch on because of how different it was.

One thing that really is awesome is when they link it to the G1 era subtly at first (Starscream's spark, the Vok using an image of Unicron to speak to Optimus and such), but then just outright throw it out to us as fully canon during the last season with the revealing of the Ark and such.

My favorite Transformers show after G1 itself. You can give credit to Dinobot, Waspinator (poor guy was always the whipping boy), Rattrap, and Cheetor for that. Quite honestly nearly the whole cast was cool in some way.

Beast wars was such a awsome series it had everything you could want in a transformers show awsome characters, great story line, intense action, even ties to g1 in my opinion its the only good transformers show besides g1

No, I believe that's actually pretty common. Though it does usually at least get credit for the production quality, with the CGI being another level above even Beast Wars (and even Energon and Cybertron which came years after).

Personally, I quite enjoyed Beast Machines. It appealed to the side of me that likes, for example, the dark Buffy and Angel episodes.

This is THE Transformers I grew up with. I'm not sure if it's the nostalgia, or the fact that I have only seen a few G1 things but IMO Beast Wars is the best.

Yeah, same here, and the reason this show was amazing was because it had an amazing plotline, which included G1 Transformers in it, good characters, and an awesome theme song to boot! This show was the shit back in the day, too bad no shows are as good as this kind of stuff anymore :( Animated is a disgrace >:(
