Now you may say trade is not natural to human beings, but science, specifically in this case, evolutionary psychology, disagree.

Soviet Union was not ‘fully communist like Marx said’. You do realise that Marxism isn’t a chronology of events? It’s a theory that happened to be adopted by various megalomaniacs throughout the course of recent history, and its adoption has always resulted in misery.
The possibility of Marxists policies ever leading to anything other than that, is effectively nought; Marx was obviously not privy to the developments in science, which are pretty convergent in finding that we are NOT the communal beings that the Marxists-socialist creed critically assumes.

The flaw is not capitalism, but state regulation and intervention in people’s personal affairs. That is the true oppression throughout the ages; systems that carry the arbitrary power to limit people’s freedom for various unfounded ‘moral’ reasons. It always results in favouring a select few who agree or do not dissent, and punishing the rest who have little choice but to comply.
Some people will obviously not do as well as others in life, but that is just how all species are. What is fair, is to maximize each individuals own responsibility and choice. That is how human beings were designed, how they survive, and how they excel. Current oppression is rife in centrally planned economies and is dramatically lower in democracies.
At least with unrestricted free trade and the absence of a centrally planned economy, the choice for the individual is at its highest by virtue of that very lack of impediments. Thus the chance to pursue their own life goals increases because of the increase in opportunities. Happiness of that kind is for the individual to decide, not stupid social engineering projects undertook by Russia, the last Labour government, or the ghastly EU.

I think everyone is forgetting the fact that Russians actually lived better (as in standard of living) on the U.S.S.R. than on the Russian Federation.
