XP INSTALL: explore cd-copy all files to a folder on your desktop, open folder, right click setup.exe - use compatibility for win98/millenium - click setup.exe game will install.

in the 7th level folder on C drive-

find grail.exe do the same thing as above right click and set compatibility for win98/millenium and also selest 256 colors

Does anyone know how to get the other Monty Python game from 7th Level "A Complete Waste of Time" to work as it was specifically made for Windows 3.1

Yeah, this one was made specifically for Win95. I had to mess with the color settings to record, but it works fine if you set the compatibility settings to either windows 95 or 98.

Don't really know about getting CWOT to work. Maybe you could find a windows 3.1 frontend or something.

Cheers, reason I ask is many say you can play CWOT on DOSBox but I tried it and says it must work in Windows which is odd cause I had a demo of it years ago and it worked in DOS

Well I got CWOT to work on XP, I had to use compatibility mode on the install.exe in the disc then once it was installed I had to copy and paste all the .bin files in the Python folder on the disc into the installed directory then use compatibility mode on the python.exe and voila it works perfectly
