  • You have a very cute accent reminds me of the Olsen twins I always liked their accent. Where are they from? Malibu? LA? Something like that..

Yeah, I totally agree with you though :)

  • the skin woman is called Casandra. She turned up in a couple of episodes. But basically shes ment to be like the last remaining human but shes had the much surgery shes just skin lol is bit silly but i loved tht character.

and i agree with u about internet bullyin thing u cnt just turn it off coz internet is like the main thing in alot of peoples lives now

  • I dont even watch Dr. Who and I remember that skin villian :S

This internet thing is DEFINATELY not a gender thing. Its got nothing to do with it, its still bullying...

Its like if they were saying things about them behind their back, but BIGGER :/

An that person is a total bitch.

  • Was it the hospital episode or the end of Earth episode?

  • there's TWO episodes with a skin-woman??

  • Yup!

  • yep!

  • With all due respect to Tom, he's one of the lucky ones that obviously would not be affected by such things as much as some but I totally agree with you Anne. It can be so hard to know that someone can spread rumours to so many of your friends before you could put a stop to it. I really dont see how it is any different from any other form of bullying as it still affects you the same, if not more. Nice video.

  • [cont]... because there's been no facial expressions and mannerisms behind such chats + journals (until youtube, webcams and DB, that is, which are pretty recent tbh) so it's not always easy to say what emotions internet people have unless you've known them outside it.

I dunno if I'm rational, I just feel that the internet is a liberating place because you have the freedom to say what you want without fear of physical abuse and etc. And I'm quite detached from bad comments and insults here. :)

  • alright, well i'll try to check some other episodes out then, for you. :)

i think a lot of the time people ARE being bullied by people they know. like from school and stuff. yeah the internet lacks tone, but i think that more matters in conversations or normal fights. bullying tends to be nastier, i think, and you don't really need to know their tonation. and you're right, the internet is definitely liberating. but sometimes a little TOO liberating... :-P

  • bah, no such thing as TOO Liberating :D

yeah I think it's different if it's someone the victim knows in real-life, because that adds a real threat to it.

  • The Dr. Who talking skin person was Cassandra - yep that's one of the newer episodes, as I say, they're hit & miss and that one wasn't so good - but there are better ones :)

Yeah, I guess there are some people who've felt the effects of online bullying but are you not talking about someone you knew in real-life beforehand? And yeah I guess comments can wound you, occasionally...but the internet lacks tone. It's hard to know whether people are happy or sad when they're just typing words...
