They all have their time and place. But spinnerbaits in general are very versatile due to the fact that there are many different styles, blade types, sizes/weights etc. I consider myself to be somewhat of a spinnerbait guru and pride myself on being able to find a good pattern with a spinnerbait on just about any day in any conditions, different season, whatever.
cant go wrong with white for that shad bite from early summer-fall transition, all the way to late fall, i find em alot in the channel swings later in the year, and like you said in your descrip. steep banks, do you use willow leafs more this time of year, or Colorado blades? ive been using the BPS xps #7 willow, its bigger profile, and has alot of "thump" like a Colorado, kinda a 2 in 1 blade style, pair that with a long arm spinner bait, single willow, they can really feel that Vibration.
Thanks for the Shout out - It's appreciated. Did that 1st bass hit that spinner as soon as it hit the water? It sure looked like it did. Really looks like a nice day on the water. Good times, Awesome Videos as always. Flip cam's For the Win!
@jurassicsushi Yeah there was some playing along the bank. I didn't realize he had hit it till he was running deep with it. He was the biggest one of the day. I only fished 3 hours. That's the first time I've been out since June.
I would love to live in one of those beautiful houses and be able to fish there all day

are spinner baits really good for bass fishing? because i use plastic worms and lures alot, but does a spinner bait work more better than ever?
