the differinces are that you catch lugia in soul silver (obbisiously) and thier are pokemon exlusives to each game like u can only catch mantine on hear gold and on soul silver you can catch skamory. and the differinces for the old gold and silver r what levels u catch lugia and ho-oh and the fact that lugia on silver knew aero blast and on gold ho-oh knew scarded fire

You earn XP with it by connecting to your game and you can transfer any Pokemon in your PC the pokewalker.

I love the pokemon series, but Soulsilver better not have that stupid battle frontier,I hate the frontier its stupid. They need to make the newer games lke the original gold and silver, so that you can go to Kanto. That's way better than the battle frontier.

The differences are very small the main difference is that you can catch lugia in SS and Ho-Ho in HG. :)

the only differences to the games is a few exclusive pokemon, and on Soul Silver you get Lugia at Lv.50 and Ho-Oh at Lv.70,,,and vice-versa for Heart Gold
