I always believed in one simple concept; that God is beyond all human understanding, all words & ideas. T'would be dangerous to presume knowing the mind of God. At the end of the day, He (and I use the term "He" for a lack of a gender-neutral term in English) Begins, Continues, and Ends.

So there is 1 God. The gospels as well as the whole Bible represent & declare the gospel (good news or good/glad tidings) of God and is that God has a plan of redemption of man/the world. It shows forth or exposes the plan of the enemy of God (the devil) & how God plans 2 redeem us 2 Himself. The scriptures flow n harmony if u read/study under the guidance/inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Galations 1:8,9 says if anyone (even an angel) preaches another gospel, let him b accursed.

Now, let's deal with the Spirit of God which is the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:2 says the "Spirit of God" moved upon the face of the waters. Gen 41:38 Pharaoh recognizes the Spirit of God in Joseph. Also c Exodus 31:3; Numbers 11:26, 29; I Samuel 10:10; 19:20, 23; II Chronicles 24:20; Isaiah 61:1 (which when Jesus read this n the temple He replied, this day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. Luke 4:21. There r plenty Old Testament scriptures mentioning the Holy Ghost/Spirit.

Does Jesus ever say anything to contradict God? No, He says He only says what He hears the Father say. If He says, "I am" then He is even as the Father is and my son is of me. If I sent my son 2 represent me and they asked if I was present, I would not think it robbery if he stood and said I am b/c I have sent him & told him what 2 say & do. He has been with me, knows me..my mind, way of thinking, training, has my understanding. When he says things, people who know me hear me speaking thru him.

(Enoch 46:1,2 cont'd) He answered and said to me, This is the Son of man, to whom righteousness belongs; with whom righteousness has dwealt; and who will reveal all the treasures of that which is concealed: for the Lord of spirits has chosen him; and his portion has surpassed all before the Lord of spirits in everlasting uprightness." So it shows that Jesus had His own entity b4 being born/manifested in the flesh. Jesus says n John 8:58, before Abraham was, I am. Paul says He is b4 all things.

So the book of John would contradict itself if it meant that Jesus is God. The book of Enoch 46:1-2, There I beheld the Ancient of days whose head was like white wool, and with him another, whose countenance resembled that of a man. His countenance was full of grace, like that of one of the holy angels. Then I inquired of one of the angels, who went with me, and who showed me every secret thing, concerning this Son of man; who he was; whence he was; and why he accompanied the Ancient of Days

Jesus says, I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world (John 16:27,28). Jesus never says He is God. He even prays 2 the Father. When John says that the Word was God, he means it the same sense as one would if a representative of a family or organization were 2 b present. If read the other way (as many do w/o understanding) it would naturally contradict itself b/c he says that Jesus (the Word) was WITH God. My children r with me & we r 1 2gether.

Go 2 Mark 3:28, 29 2 c what Jesus says about this, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation. We are not saying this (the Holy Ghost) is another God but a manifestation/revelation of God by or from Himself 2 us. Jesus is not God Himself but proceeded forth & came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. John8:42

I know u like 2 discredit John so lets also c what Jesus says in Luke 24:49, behold I send the promise of the Father UPON u (spoken of by Isaiah in Isaiah 44:3, Joel in Joel 2:28 & from Jesus n John 4:10, , 14). John 16:7, 13, says Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth.

I would like 2 clarify 1 misunderstanding of our vision of God. I understand there r heresy/false/wrong teachings concerning this within Christianity but hopefully this will clarify it. Hebrews 1:1,2 says God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things. John 14:26.

I believe the Bible 2 b the authoritative Word of God. The scriptures show clearly that 1 must b Spiritual n order 2 understand it but 2 the natural man it will b foolishness 2 him. It is clear that Gods Wisdom is different from that of the world and the princes of this world. There r some things that r easily, openly seen/understood..exoteric while there r some that 1 must b given 2 seek with his whole heart (meaning the innermost, important, secret part) 2 receive. See I Corinthians chapter 2.

this is a pretty good lecture. I am a Christian and have "some" knowledge of Islam and other religions. I am not very astute in them however as I am in Christianity. 1 general statement is the lecturer does what he says others do. He too addresses (thru his research & answers/debates) the issues from a stance of defense. He is not open 2 the option that his idea/opinion what he believes 2 b truth could be wrong. He is studying from this point of view 2 support his belief & 2 disprove all else.

actually, there is proof that islam supports a theory of a kind of evolution, though not the one that says humans come from monkeys. everything happans for a reason, even if it looks bad to us now, we cant comprehend the wisdom behind it.
