do you not notice at around 38 seconds into the video how the riders and horse are sat calmy waiting for the door to open one man even is stroking his horse its a fun sport and both horse and rider seem to love it

Such fine horses! You kids who think this is mean really ought to get to know broncs. This is their one shot at a job ... you can't MAKE a horse buck, they have to love it, like jumpers or runners. With out these jobs, these horses are dead. Watch their ears and facial expressions. If you know horses at all, that will tell their story. They LOVE it ... and we love them for it!
