Many of the comments regarding this video are completely missing the point... the objective of this classroom exercise wasn't to prove that the students are lazy, or can't work Google, or are just "morons." This project is HIGHLIGHTING the fact that there is an absence of solutions presented in Ms. Leonard's video! In a film that is meant to educate the public, there should be tangible solutions presented, not just scare tactics.

I understand the desire to find a simple list, with answers that will help us make a difference. What's partly wrong with the path we're on is that convenience has become the mantra, being told what to do has become all too common. I examined my own lifestyle and came up with a few simple things that help. 1) I recycle what I can. 2) I buy USED whenever I can. 3) I ask 'Do I NEED this?!?!' It starts at home. It impacts anyone you come into contact with, including your friends. Good luck.

Yeah - it's a bleak situation, but you can't count on Annie to give you the answers. If this generation is going to have any kind of chance at a future, it's going to be up to you to do 2 things: 1) Stop living the way your parents live. The consumer lifestyle is killing the world.
