TO SMHFC1984 well the first goal that spain scored if you look carefully the guy pushed the korean defenders head down with his hand and it hit his hand. the 2nd goal people just concentrate on whether it was in our out but the guy that headed the goal in he used his hands and put it on the korean defender to push himself up. and the 2nd goal since the referee called it the goalkeeper stopped.

The fact that people are still obsessing/hating over a game that happened 8 years ago is really sad. Just because Korea's performance skyrocketed in 2002 doesn't mean the only possible reason for it was "cheating". It's understandable that you were disappointed because you were beat by a country who was used to be viewed as a non-threat. Look how many opportunities came your way late in regular time and in extra time. Vieri was all alone in front of goal with the goal keeper on the other side of the post and he couldnt score. Korea Dominate the 1st round stage... We played difficult game against Italy and Spain cuz our players were little out of gas and was short rest days compare to opponents... We played one of the exciting games in tourney and people who knows soccer would say samething..

believe me, italy had alot of chances to put korea away late in the game, but at the same time what about all the fouls korea committed throughout the game which weren't called?
and the game with spain, a perfectly good goal disallowed by the line judge had it not been for that, spain would have won 1-0 and korea is out

Even you have to admit Italys rep for diving is horrendous. That reputation doesnt come of out nowhere. They brought that onto themselves. You can even utube vids showing the italian national team practicing taking dives.

TO SMHFC1984 well the first goal that spain scored if you look carefully the guy pushed the korean defenders head down with his hand and it hit his hand. the 2nd goal people just concentrate on whether it was in our out but the guy that headed the goal in he used his hands and put it on the korean defender to push himself up. and the 2nd goal since the referee called it the goalkeeper stopped.
