no, its not built on soft ground. and no it wasnt pushed over by Leviticus , you fucking moron. there is a underground spring that has eroded the earth under the south east corner of the towers base which started the lean. it was actually built in 3 stages and at each of the stages the tower had an almost in-perceivable lean which was corrected in the construction process so now it actually has 2 kinks in its total length.

He was never able to repeat the trick and now it's stuck that way. Some guess that the tower was on unstable ground, that's why he was able to push it.
