This is just a revamp of the LOTR theme. I love it don't get me wrong but The Hobbit is a completely different story so perhaps our dear composer should have changed things up a bit more.
You didn't really composed this!!!! This is a variaton from the lord of the rings soundtrack (Breaking of the fellowship). Yes, you changed and added some things, but in fact this is not your composition.
great! I'm the biggest lotr fan, the movies are just magnificent, the music is even better. I love how there are accents from the last 3 movies in this piece of music. the part of "breaking of the fellowship (reminder of the shire)", "the uruk-hai (reminder of the two towers)", i love it. great job!
@dunavidrava haha that's just a saying, I've seen the movies (extended at that) literally more than 10 times, read the lotr trilogy in english twice and in dutch, read and listened to the silmarillion, read "the children of hurin" and "the hobbit" and some parts of "tales from the perilous realm" :) probably still not the biggest fan, there are probably bigger freaks out there than me :P I do love tolkien's world in every detail and it changed the way I look on life
@TBgamingLP yea, i also read the books all the time.. but i have to thank the movies cuz if there werent movies, maybe i would never read these amazing books
All your stuff is superb. You sound like a real pro - do you score on manuscript and work from that or just do it on Logic as you go along? Sounds very organised and well thought out whatever you are doing!! You seem very prolific too so I look forward to hearing more of yur stuff.
Haha! I made that poster back when I was like 16! :) I'm 21 now and run a Tolkien inspired swordsmithing studio.
obviously I have no way to prove this I guess, and I dont expect anyone to believe me... But I did do similar photoshop work on my swordsmithing website as I did in this poster.
WOW! I only have EWQLSO Silver, so transitions don't exist in my work. This is amazing with those transitions, and the richness of sound! Incredible music too. Always loved that theme in LOTR. Great rendition!
@jdrcomposer Hi jdrcomposer i have been watching your videos and i must say i really like them :) so i was wondering what program do you use to make epic music like this? I would love it if you can reply me back :)
Apologies I didn't read all the comments please don't hate me...

dont read this for spoilers, but it would be so dramatic and beautiful if this is when Bilbo is beside Thorin when he dies, and this music plays.

@MrCoolShrimp As has been pointed out many times, it's based on LOTR music, with some original stuff
jdrcomposer 1 week ago 4
It's technically an "arrangement," but yeah... excellent job.

@DividedWolf He never said he composed it. He specifically said in a comment replying to someone, "It's variations on the LOTR themes."

Wow you composed this? It's beautiful! Something the legend himself, Howard Shore, would love xD
ironmaiden93ofangmar 1 month ago
@ironmaiden93ofangmar
He sort-of-arranged this. Howard Shore wrote the themes.

The saddest thing in any movie i've ever seen was when frodo left sam. It was really heart-renching for me.
