Big Flathead Catfish Wintertime

I realize that, that's why there's rules. There's a 45 day season here, can keep 2 flathead, we kept, cleaned this fish here. I'm not a big fan of snagging myself, but had a good time trying it, and watching my buddy bring in this big one. Snagging for catch and release is illegal, not to mention stupid.

good job, assholes. snaggin fish kills em, especially in the winter time. 99% flatheads don't bite during the winter. they school up in the deep holes and just sit there. and when you snag them like that, the wounds don't heal fast cause of the cold water temps and they can get a cold water fungus and die.
