Who ever decided to hire this "6 foot model" to play the role of Wolverine and decided to give him the fighting skills of a some fuckin' "drunk bar room brawler", should be fuckin' shot. First of all, Wolverine was more like 5 foot tall and 190 pounds of muscle. Second, he had mastered almost all forms of martial arts. His strength wasn't just his healing factor, and adamantium. It was his fighting skills. They totally ruined Wolverine, in this movie. I hope someone else makes a movie.

They could have had him fighting like a good martial artist, at least. They could have worked it out, if they wanted to. Look how they did with Keanu Reeves, in the Matrix. If they would have made Wolverine fight like Mystic, it at least would have been a little more accurate to the X-men magazine. Instead, they have him fighting like some drunk in a bar. Of course, maybe they had him fighting better, in this movie. I haven't seen it yet. I think I'll just wait till it comes out on HBO.

In the magazines, Wolverine never got his ass kicked, in hand to hand combat, like he did in X men 1 and 2. He didn't have to fight like Neo but they could have at least taught him some moves. And in the magazines, he didn't fight like some wils animal. He was an assassin before he met Professor X. In fact, he was sent to kill Mr X.
If your talking about magazine im assuming ur talking about the comics. And yes, he does lose several times in the comics. In the movie X1 he fought Sabertooth who is just as good as fighting so of course he would have gotten hit a couple of times. Lady Death Strike in the second movie has also great martial arts skills and is faster so again of course he would have had trouble fighting her. However, somethings in the comics just wouldnt work on the big screen.

He has lost a fair fight to Sabertooth and Omega Red in the comics as well as cartoon i know that for a fact. He has also lost to others before. Sexual oreintation (gay, straight, bi, asexual) is an attraction to a gender.
If wolverine is bi, you cant tell...unless it shows in his Sexual behavior/actions. Even if he doesnt have sex with men (sexual behavior), doesn't mean he isn't attracted to them (sexual orientation).
