I find what helps me is to entirely immerse myself in the pain and let it fill every part of me because then I get used to it because my whole body is feeling it. i found that tattoos don't hurt that much really if you get them in the right places, i've already got 5 but i'd have to say my dragon probs had the most pain and also i found that the outline was more painful and the shading was just plain easy infact i laughed at how unpainful it was i already have plans for my 6th which will be going down the side of my right leg i reckon i'm in for around, 4 hours of pure pain there probs around 2 - 3 hours of outlining

I consider my self to be resonably tollerant to pain, both my arms are tattoo'd to half sleeve and both my pecs are done also (so preety much whole chest and arms down to elbow) i recently got my 5th tattoo and it wad under my arm on the rib cage, never have i felt so much pain! hey man i think it was a good idea. Getting a tattoo is a much better feeling when u have a reason to get not just to do it. i got a tattoo a few months ago im 16.
