why wash after marinating?? wouldn't that defeat the purpose of marinating?

@sundarikoche Goat meat has a slightly wild flavor and smell. Marinating removes much of this, but you have to rinse after marinating so that the unpleasant odor is removed. (Usually marinating is to add flavor, in this case it is to remove some unpleasant smell and taste.)
