Low carb isn't all meat. I eat a lot of cheese, salad and other nonstarchy veggies too. Everything has dangers..over --> there is a video warning about olive oil lol. You take forever to get to the point and your phone ringing annoyed me, this video should have a health warning.
@threebobs yes body temp is very very important!! u should check your temp and paulse.. looseing weight on atkins doesnt make u healthy!! sugar is not a problem!! starchy foods in high ammount are and polyunsaturated fats are .. glucose from food is necessary to convert t4 into Active T3. read science by Broda Barnes and Ray Peat!! i went from size 32(men uk trousers) to 34 and then 36.. i was doing the diet.. didnt cheat at all for Meny Months..now im paying for all the years i was doing juicing diet, raw diet, vegan, juice fast, and low carb.. im back to the weight i was when started slimming down in 2003..
he is Absolutly Right!! If u diet for the first time any approach will do.. but when some reason u stop that approach and u gain back the weight thats when u start messing up your metabolism... Atkins did work for me about 4 months then went on holidays, did eat carbs, Gained loads of weight in 1 week, back on it again, very low carb and Started Gaining Weight!!

Credentials, please? I have been a 'student of Atkins' for many years and I have found nothing about what he speaks of about the diet. I have that book and page 303 is not even where the FAQ's are! I don't buy hardly anything of what he says. All I have done is improve my health doing Atkins. I am down 25 lbs, have more energy, feel A LOT better and plan to continue. At 337 lbs and 5'8", doing nothing would be FAR WORSE. I'll take my advice from an MD, thanks.
