  • Federer was sarcastic when he said "If it was just that easy." because it is to him...and he was serious whne he said it's all planned. 2012 isn't the end of the world. Federer's just going to win all 4 slams in a row.

  • @wussok end of your ass

  • smiling man :)

  • Goddddddd..I wanna make babies with him..Cant wait..Want him deep inside mee....

  • If I had a dollar for every pixel in this video, I would have 4 dollars.

  • @EdwardDiego0 if i had a dollar for every time i saw that comment on a video id be a fkn millionaire

  • not sure why the title of this video is in english

  • 240p we meet again...

  • i don't understand shit!!!!

  • Federer became first on the ATP just because he didn`t have competition.

  • Nadal leads Federer 17-8 in record. This is a loaded fact though.

    Roger leads 2-1 on grass

Roger and Rafa are even at 4-4 on hard

    Rafa is 12-2 on clay.

Rafa has been less successful and unable to reach federer in later parts of draws during the time a lot of these took place.(rafa was not second best on grass or hard)

Federer ONLY loses to NADAL on clay. ( Federer is the second best on clay)

    Federer is the better player.

  • it sounds like 'mumble mumble'

  • funnny...

  • what'd he say?

  • stupid journalist.. Roger always attractive, honest and modesty. so cute :)

  • was ist denn die frage des journalisten ich hör das gar nicht und federrer ist voll am nuscheln

  • @mybigkindheart: dont u ever say fuck federer again u piece of garbage, hes the MASTER of tennis and he ll always be,so Fuck You ass hole and put ur tongue in your mouth!!!!!

  • roger may have made some players want to step up their game, but not to the point where that's the reason they can beat him. if you look at it in a wide perspective, the only 2 players that come close to surpassing him is nadal and djokovic - 2 players in their early/mid 20's while roger is reaching his 30's. he's obviously past his prime while other players are reaching theirs' which is what i think, the main reason they are beating him now more often than five, six years ago

  • yes tennis is raised to new heights coz of federer

  • whether you like him or hate him he has won so many slams and titles

and i think we could all sort of learn from him too, he is strong not only phisically but also in mind as well

  • Federer FUCK YOU !!!!

  • @marcconi007

    dini mueter du serbische baschtard

  • @SBWaffelmann it is swiss german.

  • 96 persons tought that was REALLY federer's plan.

  • every journalist - stupid xD

  • @999Rourou I believe 4-French, German, Swiss/German, and English

  • HOW MANY LANGUAGES CAN HE SPEAK????

  • @999Rourou : Roger the Loser speaks german, english and french but I'm even more impressed when he's crying in spanish... and boy he does that A LOT !!!!

  • @Papahitas If a 16-time Grand Slam champion is what you consider a 'loser', you have a deluded vision of what makes a winner. You know nothing.

  • @LoafOfPint much agreed Roger Federer the gretest tennis player that ever existed:)

  • @999Rourou He speaks Swiss German, German, English and French, Swiss German being his language

  • @sirmoorgate1994 WOW he is amazing for sure!!!! off and on the court

  • @sirmoorgate1994 He is learning Chinese since 2010!! OMG he is the new Chuck Norris

  • @SBWaffelmann noone except those who understand swiss german of course...;)

  • verstehh nixxxxx

  • @SBWaffelmann i would!!!

  • @HiddenAgendaTwo bcs u didn't understand it I guess?!

  • Take this Down waste of time!!

  • @SBWaffelmann yes i would!

  • lovely Roger :)

  • lovely Roger :)

  • @SBWaffelmann I would lol

  • @SBWaffelmann

    jaa schoo^^

  • @saandx3 LOL.

  • lmfao I'm just learnng Deutsch for my test

  • oh süß wenn er deutsch spricht!

  • @SBWaffelmann It is swiss german, i know it because i speak german and can speak swiss german too

  • @123456789dri thats not swiss-german its normal german.

  • im sorry lol loads of people are saying federer sucks now? wtf are u on about even though he is still easly one of the top 5 players in the world and he is with and has to be recondised as the greatest player of all time no one can match his record+ he isnt 30 yet if im not mistake and he WILL win more grand slams as long as he dosnt pick up a injury

  • @messi996 and he is quite fit...... doesn't pick injury very easily.....

didnot miss a single grandslam due to injury......

  • @drhims it's because of the way he moves and his technique. he doesn't need to be at maximum effort to create power. he is very gifted athletically.

  • @sultanabran1 cant agree more. and definitely he is here to stay for next few years....

  • @drhims Yeah, unlike some other tennis player who strains his body so much he is capable of great things he normally couldn't do... that's why, though he may beat Federer heads on, I prefer Federer much more.

  • @SBWaffelmann I would..

  • este video iguala mierda

  • @erty6100 entendiste el video o quieres q t lo explique?

  • with this generation of tennis players, i think they all owe it to federer because he dominated the men's tennis for 5 years and he was almost unbeatable. now, a lot of tennis players are winning against him because they step up the level of their games. roger pushed them harder to play better and better and they should thank roger for that. now that is the true great tennis player!

  • @dlrsa2 Or maybe he's just getting old

  • @dlrsa2 what rubbish. The players that stepped up have to thank themselves not Roger. Secondly, only two players have come close to matching him. That is Nadal (who has surpassed him) and the other is Djokovic

  • @dlrsa2 True, but it's not just that other players had to get better. Roger of course is also not as good anymore as he used to be since he's nearing the end of his career. The Roger of 2007 would still probably be #1 now if he didn't get older.

  • @dlrsa2 just like what Tiger did for golf.

  • @dlrsa2 not just that but also Roger is getting older too if he were in his prime right now it would be totally different for Nadal and novak

  • @ochoar001 - Nadal consistently beat Federer in Federer's prime.

  • @dlrsa2 no he is still awesome. infact he was the one who ended nole's streak. not even nadal or murray or anyone could. only federer. only the unbeatable can beat the unbeatable!!

  • @dlrsa2 but also because federer possibly peaked at around 26/27

  • @Veneratio10 Out of the entire '04-'07 range, I'd say '05 and '06 were his best. And he was 24-25 at the time.

  • @sasook '07 Federer for me was at his best, that Wimbledon final was incredible.

  • @2601andrew Well after the AO '07 his level of play dropped (understandably....no one's expected to play at that high a standard for that long). The Wimbledon final was great, but he had definitely lowered his level compared to the end of '06-early '07. Plus, his year end records are as follows:

    '04: 74-6

    '05: 81-4

    '06: 92-5

    '07: 68-9

All incredible, but you can see a slight decline in '07. He was still phenomenal, but 26/27 = '07-'08, and I wouldn't say he was at his peak then, that's all.

  • @dlrsa2 and he has also a lot of luck, this is his destiny,BUT NADAL IS MORE LUCKY THAN HIM......so only 1 other player manage to keep up with him and to be sometimes better, plus Novak Djokovic

BUT ANYWAY LETS SEE IF NADAL & DJOKOVIC WILL KEEP UP WITH HIM AND SO MUCH TIME LIKE HIM

FEDERER IS NOT JUST EXTREMELY TALENTED AS HE SAYS,HE IS ALSO VEERY GOOD HE WORKED A LOT,BUT IN LAST TIME HE DON'T WORK SO MUCH LIKE DJOKOVIC FOR EXAMPLE,AND THIS IS A VERY NORMAL THING,HE MUST TRAIN HIS TALENT NOW

  • Guys holy shit get over it! This comment was posted 2 years ago when Roger won 3 grand slam and made a final in RG. He sucks now and I'm pretty confident Nadal will beat his record if his knee doesn't fuck up.

  • i dun speak italian.

  • @SBWaffelmann Noone?? Really?!?

  • Roger is true class. love Roger

  • Roger is the classic greatest. love Roger

  • Roger love

  • Nadal says Federer is way better than he is also. Nadal is a lefty and that is a great match up against Federer, especially since Nadal has a huge top spinning forehand. Nadal said at Roland Garros 2010 that it will be virtually impossible to achieve what Federer has done.

  • i'm from switzerland and that was not swiss german, it was simply german

  • Roger Federer - One of the most intelligent sportsman!!!

  • love Roger

  • @federerbestclass Again your stupid ANNOYING COMMENT? PLEASE USE YOUR BRAIN A BIT

  • thats german^^ I'm german and thats german :) and I cant understand swiss german :/

  • @SBWaffelmann

    wrong

    germans can understand swiss german

  • Comment removed

  • no se lo k dice pero se k federer es el mejor

  • I think it was not too stupid but too early. think about the last two or three years those tournament are like warm-ups, not to burn yourself out of the big ones. See today Murray, Djoko...

  • Who makes such a question!!!!

  • @Lukabby what did the journalist ask? i didnt understand

  • Roger Federer is King. and Roger Federer is true class

  • @federerbestclass You said that already. Please use your brain a bit

  • Roger Federer is King. and Roger Federer is true class

  • @federerbestclass You said that already. Please use your brain a bit

  • @gigatron4 haha :D

  • English translation:

Q: So is it part of your game plan that you also lose some matches before Paris?

FEDERER: Yes, sure, it's all planned (laughs). If it was just that easy.

  • how did you catch the question? all I hear is mumble jumble

  • @89Pleasek its in german

  • I know, but I can't hear a word she sais nevertheless

  • @89Pleasek

question was in the interview transcript on asapsports

  • @guiguitebeka ty for translating ;)

  • @ThePointVision hey ;)

  • What the hell! I mistook a word! So what?

I'm not an expert in english, can you forget that, please? ¬_¬'

  • well that's the thing with translations..... languages are different, some things make sense in their own language, but once they get translated to english (or other languages) they dont make sense

even if they do, they might not be funny when translated

  • Roger LOVE

  • @gokharol traduce? watch description...

  • thank you very much, and I'm sorry I didn't notice that. :-)

  • es translate, no traduce, boludo

  • Sure, I'll traduce you.

  • Roger LOVE ;

  • Well to clear this up, in this particular video he is speaking GERMAN, although with a Swiss accent. This press conference took place in Hamburg after he had lost twice to Guillermo Canas twice on hard court that season. The journalist asks if it's part of his game plan to lose some matches as well. Roger then replies: "Yeah sure, of course, it's all planned. We're not that far yet"

  • 'We're not that far yet.' What the hell does that mean?

  • That's the literal translation of what he says in German. I guess the closest expression for that in English is "it's not that easy yet". Very hard to translate

  • He speaks Swiss German - He is from Basel,Switzerland and their local dialect is Swiss German. In the country of Switzerland people generally speak Swiss German and French.

  • and Italian ;)

  • can someone please translate?

  • what we can hear in this cutout doesnt really makes sense because one can't hear what the journalists says and its only short cutout whitout context.

  • Roger I love you

  • @federerbestclass please tell me ur a chick

  • What happened??

  • No, he doesn't speak swiss german, he speaks standard german but with a swiss accent

  • ich kann ihn nicht ganz verstehen kann jemand mir sagen was roger gesagt hat

  • He speaks swissgerman.. (country: Switzerland)

  • It´s german, but with a strong swiss accent.

  • Is he speaking German here, or dialect?

  • Roger sweet :)

  • loll guys.. first nadal will never be better then roger.. only because nadal knees finish.. second.. can you tell me the name of this argentinian? im sure your wrong.. :P

  • Why are you sure I´m wrong? Every great player that ever lived has a bad record against some unknown player.

That IS my point. Personal records againt someone doesn´t mean shit. So fuck all the "nadalists".

And by the way, the name of the argentinian is....FUCK YOU.

I´ll leave you to search for it, or die with ignorance.

  • loll just tell me his name.. or maybe there is no1 who beat federer 3-0..! nalbandian? no.. del potro.. never

  • No....I was talking about someone who never made it to the top....

    Bye!!!!

  • Roger Federer Best. Roger is hot....love

  • Read the fucking info for God's sake!

  • Lol now that journalist is really idiot hahaha

  • @

murtiizzet : everything is fucked up for you huh?

man look at ur own posts. sad sad sad

  • if thats a saying then turks are more fucked up than i ever thought

  • if you take the saying literally then you are more fucked up than you will ever think.

  • no matter how you take it its a disgusting and fucked up saying but i guess you like it that way

  • it is your flawed opinion that that saying is fucked up. whereas i find it hilarious and witty. when i celebrate the intelligence behind it, you boast about your conservative and pompous character. that's the main difference between us.

  • talking about pompous what an elegant and elevated comeback you try to make. but in the end its also fucked up

  • yet not as much fucked up as you are. the time you read it the fist thing that came to your mind was a man on dirt standing behind a pig fucking it. that's my point.

  • see what is behind the scene. that's all i want.

  • ähm whats your definition of noob.....if you think that someone like söderling is a noob....then i don't want to know what the other players below him are

  • you forgot fact 4: federer did beat nadal after getting new confidence :D

  • @DasCiTronDing nada is much better

  • @Telepcanin but federer is the NR.1 and nadal won't be successful for a long time.. i think he will quit tennis in a few years because he already has problems with his health in this young age^^

  • @DasCiTronDing If this "^^" means you're happy about someone having problems with health you must be a nice guy.

  • @Sandude I'm not happy about it, cause I love to watch them playing against each other.. but i think it will happen.^^ And if it won't, nadal will become the NR.1 in a few years..

  • @G3LEBEL

completely agree with u. they're both my fave players, but Federer is more skilled/experienced without a doubt.

  • @G3LEBEL

Fact4: if Nadal made it to more GS finals other than Rolland Garros, Federer will have better stats against Nadal on GS

  • @G3LEBEL I think you forgot fact 4... terrible video. :)

  • @G3LEBEL He sucks now

  • @G3LEBEL FACT 3 ... I don't know where did you get that "FACT" From.

Federer lost twice back to back to an Argentine Guillermo Canas while he was in a record streak. Who loses to noobs ?

Nadal is better than Federer, is easy to know that because of their record HEAD TO HEAD.

Careerwise Federer has accomplished more. However if NADAL was 5 years older he would have had the upper hand. And Federer wouldn't have been so successful.

Head to Head that is what makes one greater. Ask B. Borg

  • @gustavocologni Take notes that I post this comment last year.... at this point Federer won 2 grand slams and made 4 finals. Yes he got some troubles this year and I also think that nadal will break his records if his knee don't fuck up. Should update this comment I guess.

  • @G3LEBEL

    Yet Tomas Beredych won.

  • @G3LEBEL

ROGER FEDERER was beat by the grand father of the tennis> Lleyton Hewitt. And it was on grass surface. The GREATEST PLAYER OF ALL TIME' Kingdom.

  • @lonbra2012 This comment is 1 and half years old so get over it. I know Roger sucks now... hope he will be back next year.

  • @lonbra2012

    Though still a Big Palyer!!!

  • @G3LEBEL until recently

  • @G3LEBEL Comparing the two players is just stupid, you can only compare them when both finish their careers. If i ask you at the current age of Nadal what player achieved the most then Nadal breaks them all, but this wouldn't be fair as well.

  • stupid you, funny federer .you cant even spell right dumbass

  • Nope, Nadal's absence is not the winning point for Federer. Nadal's good, i dont doubt that for 1 sec but for some reason, people tend to think that Nadal's absence guarantees Fed's victory. That's quite unfair to the other players that are really good, like Roddick. Sordeling beat Nadal in the french open and then was beaten by Fed. Fed beat Nadal on clay (Nadal's "area" )in the madrid masters but i dont know why people fail to recognise that. They are both great but i love Fedex more, personally

  • I agree with ya 100%.

  • mmm how many times have you seen a tennis match in your life? I hope just once or twice because you realy don't know anything about it! tennis is not maths dude

  • two mins of wimbledon is not going to make you any expert either. i am entitled to my opinion and i have a freedom to ridicule however harsh that may sound. i cant stand federer..that is all. i was not trying to prove any mathematical fact. however, before making any moronic comment ..read comments that were posted way before.. and that way u might understand a thing or two ..ok ?
