@topaktarus I would be impressed if he did this w/a piece of hardware LIVE, but making a song on a computer using time-stretch software and then dancing around on stage. he's just looping and layering....pre school shit. My beef is, regardless of our aesthetic dispositions and disparity, is that this weakens "Fair Use" for the rest of us. I have a project coming, "Deconstructing Girltalk," using DJs to actually perform this shit. Girltalk is mad vanilla. Fairer Uses!

Girl Talk is totally POP all the way to the food! I call him POPpa Mixophrenia in a recent review I did of "Feed the Animals" at my blog Noosic. I also designed 8 Girl Talk tees and for one of them (Play Your Part 1 T-shirt) I made a video for it. In the intro of it I sampled the intro audio of this video here...its the audio intro of what seems to be every Girl Talk show. The chanting tweaked "Girl Talk, Girl Talk, Girl ...".
