  • back in the days when players were humans

  • Okay...!

  • woah unexpected.

  • 6 dislikes? WTF did you want Starbury to do...stick his elbow in the rim...damn haters, give him some respect.

  • Yup windmilled his ass all da way 2 free agency

  • that was the nicest windmill dunk i've ever seen

  • My how the things changed from then and now. Then Jersey was ballin Celts suck. Now Celts ballin and Jersey's just gettin balled.

  • fucking ballhog

  • @BMinhas24

Give him his props! What small guard have you ever seen with his combination of all-around skills and athletic ability? Say what you want about his "approach to the game" (i.e. his resistance to being a true PG, etc.), but give him his credit. If his head was screwed on right, he'd be going down as the greatest small guard in NBA history...Isiah Thomas, Stockton, Nate Archibald, Allen Iverson, etc. Marbury would be #1!

  • people overlook how good of an athlete Marbury was. He was barely 6'0 doing windmills and catching ally's.

  • @armstrong2mcgrady2k1

Marbury was a true 6'2. I have known him since he was 12 years old, and he passed 6' as a freshman in hs. Nevertheless, his dunks are still amazing.

  • @armstrong2mcgrady2k1

  • damn that was tight i bet brandon jenning is copying stephon marbury.

  • he did it like it was an allstar game, nobody was guarding him?!!

  • that was almost as beautiful as vc's windmills.

  • Richard Jefferson?? u idiot he wasnt even on the team that time... RJ #24.... SM #33...

  • I didnt even know he could get up their back then

  • you are all losers.

  • vince ain't 6'8" dumbshits

  • i cant believe he can do that

  • he is marbury, years ago he was a net player

  • oh man,that was sick!

even AI can't do that so!

  • 8 ton parete telika?

  • yes hes wit the celtics now they should have a sick startin lineup him at pg the rainman at sg the truth at sf kg at pf and miki moore at center boston for 2009 nba champs

  • miki moore sucks balls

  • lol

  • why the hell should mikki moore start he fucking sucks! perkins is a better defender and rebounder!

  • true dat nvm keep perkins at center

  • It shows he is a me-first type player. I'm fine with that but he is a point guard. But i would rather see Starbury dunk than that tall white guy lay it up any day.

  • Jumping jelly beans tat was sickkk!!! Those were Marbury's glory days

  • Wow, he coul have pased the ball

  • why, a basket is a basket.

  • my friend told me bout this vid and i didnt believe him....now i do

  • i told everyone in his rookie season that he jumped way higher than iverson and people thought i was on drugs. iverson cannot do what marbury just did.

  • A.I got rookie of the year tho

    therefore hes better

  • iverson had a 42-inch vertical. I don't know what Marbury's was but what Im tryin to say is acrobatic dunking is not about vertical leap alone. Look at Vince Carter..he only had a 37 inch vertical leap and he can do all this nasty dunks. his windmill is so sick it looked like he was in the air longer than anyone else. It's all about body coordination and flexibility. and of course...PRACTICE

  • You'e out of your mind if you think AI had a 42 inch vert.

  • idk if it was 42 but it was up there a.i. use to get up there ofcourse he cant do what

a 6'8 cat like vince could do cuz hes only 6 feet but my boy use to get up there

  • No doubt, but 42 might be pushin it. I know a 6'2" cat that can windmill and he claims to have a 36 inch vert. I'd say AI was in the 36-38 range.

I don't even know if Steve Francis vert was 42 and he was gettin way higher then AI.

  • umm vince is 6'8 he can do more than then a dude 6"0 but dont mean he has more hops even in that dunk contest he won francis had a better vertical but francis is only 6'2 he cant do no fucking 360 windmill or put his arm threw da hoop which do to youtube i have found out vince wasnt da first to do that check out kobe in da phillapines at da end da dunks he does and thats 1998 vince did da arm thing in 2000 when i seen it i was like wtf i though vc made that up guess not

  • I'd be willing to be Vince, in his prime, had a better vert then Steve Francis EVER did.

  • dude in that infamous dunk contest in 2000 francis vert was higher than vince i still got it recorded on fucking vhs lol vince was more creative and francis at his height still woldnt be able to duplicate da dunk vc did he should it down that night

  • Actually Vince is 6'6" and Franchise is 6'3". Do the math.

  • they alway switch around shit they use to list him at 6"7 then i even seen 6"8 and also 6"6 but if it makes ya feel better okay vince is a lil dude and francis is dumb tall you dick heads whatever they height was da diffrence was still noticable

  • It don't even matter. You said some dumb shit and got busted out. That's it.

  • ok i made a lil error that some bored dude who was tired of filming babies eating cute (yeah i seen ya page cute baby loser) pointed out big whoop? want applause? or a bobo?

  • LOL, you get busted out for saying dumb shit so you wanna bring my shorty into it ? That's real. My little sister is the one who put that on there, as if I gave a fuck what you thought anyways. All I'm saying is don't try to act like you know what you're talking about when you CLEARLY don't.

  • Vince had longer arms. But even if Francis was as tall, he wouldn't have been as good.

  • ummm thats whole other topic nobody mention about being as good or better cuz i take a bumed knee vince carter over francis in his prime he dribble too much just to score a basket i aint like that shit unlike my boy A.i. who yes dribbled alot and put on shows but he aint do that every fucking posetion he had a deadly first step too which was too easy!!!!!!! francis automaticlly had to past da ball threw his legs just for a bucket womp womp after while that shit gets tiring

  • holy sh*t can anyone comment on the dunk? Great dunk, i really liked marbury during the nets days, he was an exciting player

  • still will be if the Knicks ever let him free !!!

  • I know he used to be my favorite player until now all he does is sit on the fucking sidelines...TRADE HIM AWAY KNICKS!

  • akousate telika ti 8 ginei ?

  • 8 ton parete telika?

  • come to olympiakosssssssssss greece!!!!come stepfon!paiktara mmmmmm tha ta sarwsoume ola!!

  • ta panta ola!!!!!!

  • That's rare

  • 1984 Jordan, Hakeem, Barkley,Stockton,Stansbury, Michael Jordan is the only player you need in your draft class to be the best

  • actually 2003 was the best draft

  • only time will tell

  • nope, 96 draft 10 all stars and 2003 only has like 5-6. 96 also has 4 hall of famers on it. with a defensive player of the year in camby. if you count the undrafted ben wallace, thats 11 all stars and 2 defensive players of the years. you'd have to wait another 5 years before you even think about saying they are better, because i dont see any MVP trophy's on 2003 drafts and i see 4 from 96

  • get a life fucker

  • i need to get a life? hmm, if i need to get a life, you need jesus

  • jesus is a racist man

  • what are you slow?it takes that long for a comeback? dude, you need Jesus and medication

  • im sorry i couldnt come up with a comeback sooner but unlike you i have a life outside the internet

  • you're on youtube too dumbass

  • go suck a one

  • lol your both retards

trying to be "tough" and "cool"

no offense just its pretty funny

  • really? i didn't threaten anyone. how am i trying to be tough or cool? i decide to leave a comment about the best draft class and when someone decides to call me names and i reply im tryng to be cool? get serious. you are jus as dumb as that guy

  • lebron has an mvp, wade a finals mvp

  • Ok, you tell me this why? As if I didn't know

  • yo the 1984 draft was the best jordan, drexler,i think it was oljawun too however u spell his name three of the all time best players ever and jordan the best player ever and then 2003 was sick too lebron wade melo bosh thatz sickk!

  • when boston was bad

  • 1996 was the best draft to date

  • actually 2008 is the best draft to date. even the experts agree. 1996 was good though

  • wat experts. where u read or see dat at. i wanna see it 2

  • I'd definitely say it's the 84 draft

  • Damn shame about that tattoo on the side of his head.

  • fuk yo LET MARBURY PLAY

  • Oh my goodness i dont believe what i just saw

  • i miss starbury, the one i thought will become the best baller in all the world

  • he got ups

  • ah ah exceptional!

  • WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?!

  • have you seen the tony parker dunk thats insane too!!!!!

  • that's some crazy air , he threw that down fucking hard and it was a full windmill too , good god did he have hops or what

  • how does he do that?

  • He's not a tall but he can dunk!

  • he did a windmill

  • N.I.C.E.

  • its funny coz Francis is only an inch taller and throws it down wayyyy madder than Starbury ever did...like that dunk ctst in 2000. Alleyoop reverse dble pmp ALL the way down... But coz Marbury dunks so rarely, it seems insane. I didnt believe the title I never thought Marbury could throw windmills down !

  • dman that guy would be a great dunker if he wanted to. high vert leap

  • keith van horn look disappointed. like he wanted the ball. he wasnt gonna do nothing special, so what the hell he getting mad for?

  • haha true

van horn would make a simple dunk or tried windmill but he would miss for sure

  • lol van horn wouldnt had did that so he gotta get over it

  • He was a beast as a Net in 2001. He avg. about 25 a game that season.

  • marbury did what? a windmill, wow.

  • that's marbury #33 as a net.

  • the good ole days!

  • my god.. how much hops is that?!?!?! crazy

  • stephon great player love him

  • lol, your a point guard pass the ball lol. jk jk you gotta shine.

  • that guy is a beast

  • Yeah him and steve francis could do that in their sleep(but back in the day)its sad they lost it,they couldve been two great allstars

  • They were two great all stars. It's just now that they fell off.

  • mmm so sad he used to be the truth but now hes just a second rate old timer lol

  • he's defenitly 6'2

  • damn!!!!!

  • oh my lord....his windmill motion was so quick

    isn't he only like 6'3?

  • back in the day.. he fell off juss like steve francis. erryon who goes to the knicks fall off

  • lol so true.

  • sorry but this nigga used to be the fucking player... back in the day.

  • Marbury would of knocked your fatass out. A point is a point.

  • no, the coach wouldn't yell, if you look closely at the score, you would see why

  • SICK!

  • What season is this from?

  • 98,99,01

  • wow

  • i remember that marbury... that's when that guy was hungry

  • dang you just start watching basketball?

  • nah just didnt notice

  • whooaa w/e sed better than carter can blow cock

  • that sums marbury up - not rewarding the big man who ran the floor with him. selfish.

  • So true. That is why every team he ever played for was better of without him. A point guard who is selfish ruins any team.

  • not even close

  • haha keith is like "wtf you ballhog"

  • hater

  • there's no point guard with a better skill set...

  • What about intelligence? I thought that is a skill a point guard should possess. Basketball IQ that is.

  • his intelligence isn't at question...it's more so his willingness to be a team player...he plays with a me first New York style play...which will never win you anything except personal accolades

  • Did you ever hear the infamous interview he gave promoting his sneakers? Those were the utterings of an idiot. There are a lot of players who were inheritently selfish and complete ball-hogs and for the sake of success adjusted their style. To be selfish comes naturally for a superior talent but success in a team sport is a cerebral effort. Look at Michael Jordan for instance. Marbury never learned, never adjusted and that is a testament of his intelligence.

  • haha i was the 100 rated and 5 stars of course

  • steph can still do it, once you done it before a bunch of times you never lose it for some reason.

if you notice when players get old they don't dunk as much as they used to cause it's a waste of energy and speeds the wear and tear of your legs which can shorten your career faster.

The key to staying young and healthy is having your legs in great shape

  • marburys a knick

  • sick

  • i like that anoucner who said windmill dunk at the end

  • he has always been a huge talent but he'll never get it just like barkley said.

  • this man has hops

  • that was ill...

  • hes good, the knicks just dont have chemistry, but wow the big big upset on detriot, that was scik, and that was without him

  • where is van horn now??

  • living in denver

  • hey fuck you if you hatin on starbury hs is a great playa you fuckin

    lehawk23 kunt

  • sick

  • he still sucks...so who cares

  • no way man marbury is amazing

  • marbury was good now he is kinda slippin away averaging a solid 20 points and 8 assists for his career

the starbury shoes really helped him stay alive

  • before tendinits

  • After watching this, I gotta get some starburys.

  • haha lol

  • who cares if he was hogging the ball they got the 2 points and its more fun to see a short guy dunk

  • yeah, and they were up like 20 points

  • waaaaaa!

  • NOOOO

  • why he doesen't dunk anymore???

  • injuries and he's older

  • Knees give out quicker if you're doing too many dunks at his height :-o

  • wow he had some serious ups back then...what happened

  • wow what happened to this vertical leap of marbury's he only did one dunked once in ny

  • eh that was hoggin the ball there was a dude right in front of him
