I agree. In my opinion, religion was a way to explain the unexplained back in the old days. Many things that were thought to be created by religion has already been proven by science. I also think religion is an excuse to not fear death. Every religion talked about death and most of them about the afterlife. Sunlight/Light increases bacteria reproduction by 80%. It would increase the chance of the mammoth decomposing by 400%. You get that because bacteria are reproducing at 20% efficiency which is 100% effective. With 80%, or 4 times the chance of increasing the reproduction, you get 400%.

It would, but once it is removed from the scanner then the tissue would then start to decompose. I think the scientists want as much time as possible with the specimen before it is not helpful like the other ones. Every second counts, I guess? Lol.

Its a matter of some debate whether the days God took to create the earth were 24 hour days. Since God is all-powerful, He would have created new animals as the enviroment changed, or modified existing animals to survive extreme conditions. . If you pay even the least atention in Biology class, you will notice the extraordinary , beautiful complexityof even the simplest of creatures. Surely all this couldnt have happened by chance. I am not a fanatic, just someone who sees all the possibilities.
