I think Sharks are the most spectacular fish in the oceans, finning them is just cruel, how would the fishermen like it if the sharks chopped there limbs off and threw them to the ground, expecting them to walk away?

Good thing that even before I cared out the world (when I was five) a promised myself to NEVER eat anything that came from the oceans. So I now 13 years later I know that if I ever go to hell it won't be for aiding in the destruction of several species. Those kids at the end look DISGUSTED at eating that soup.

You wouldn't give up your child to save a shark, so why should someone else (this comment is not directly related at you, it's at the people commenting that they wish the humans would die who were doing this)

The most effective contribution that China can make to the climate change mitigation and adaptation action plan is to ban shark finning. It is a minuscule sacrifice for the most populated country in the world and by far the highest consumer of shark fin. This is something that could be brought onto the negotiation table at the Cancun Summit on Climate Change this coming November. I'm amazed that Asian countries seem to have no clue what they are doing by removing the top predator from the oceans by the millions every year! They are culling our oceans of every large fish as well as whales & dolphins. What happens when all apex predators are gone from our oceans? 90% of ALL large fish & mammals are already gone.! Asian countries you have no right to destroy what is not yours!

did you know that european countries also eat shark, yet this was not mentioned in the film? instead it just talked about asia, middle east, and africa.
