I was a little girl&Justin was a major part of my life.He was quite a few years older than me but age didn't matter, we still played like there was no tomorrow. Justin was my bestfriend growing up,all of my childhood memories consist of him. When I found out Justin had passed- It had been a day after my birthday, i was going out to celebrate when i found out the news; I cancelled everything. I just found this, and it brought me to tears, i miss him everyday;&can't wait to see him again one day.
Great video, we will forever remember Justin and Victor, this tragedy really hit home hard here in Davie County as we serve with Justin's uncle Wal...people dont understand that it is truly a brotherhood>>>God Bless Our Fallen Brothers.
that was the worst time of my life. To be at the funeral and also being led in the funeral. You talk about emotional. I thank anyone who is on here who seen the parade and stopped or saluted. at the funeral i did all i could from not bursting out in tears but it was no good. We all have a job to do and we do it to the best of our ability. You never know when that one time when that pager goes off that you wont return to the station.
The Heaven RD poem at the end put me over the edge, and I droke down. I was a FFEMT for 20 yrs and nave been to a few funurals. They are a eyeopener to all/ GOD BLESS
@kgcwhazup As have i. GOD bless these two guys, and those who do this as well, both paid and volunteer. it dont matter what you make or dont make. if you do it, to me you are quite brave anddedicated. there are no half assed firefighters/ems/police
was at the funeral and it took everything I had to keep going. It tore me to pieces while crying there. Losing a brother like that is hard for us firefighters. But we take that risk each time we run calls. Rest in peace brother.
hi my name is charlie and i am a firefighter and first responder in my small town and this is a great video great job,and God bless these men and their families.also can anyone tell me what the secound song on this video and the singer thinks
Excellent Video. God Bless all of the men and women who answer the call for help never hesitating to put their lives in harms way for us. THANK YOU doesn't seem to be enough to these gentlemen and all the others who continue to serve today. THANK YOU...
Great Video. I didn't know either of these Gentleman. But it is always sad when we loose a memeber from my Dept. or a Dept. somewhere else.I would like the families to know they will be in my Prayers. It is a tragedy that there lives were taken.May you rest in peace Brothers.God Speed.
As i sit watching this video, i cant help but to shed a tear, I was Victor Islers partner in the FDNY EMS, and although i didnt know Justin Monroe, im sure he was a good person, seeing all the lives they both touched. U will always be missed Victor, but never forgotten, i miss you brother, my partner. Thank you to whoever made this video
This is a really good video. Its interesting how people on the other side of the highway also stop and pull to the side to also pay their respects. God Bless them and all the men and women who risk their lives so we can be safe.
Hey, Thanks for making this video, one of the best I have seen. I am a firefighter in Rowan County NC, with the Granite Quarry Fire Department. I went to high school and I was a junior at Millers Ferry with Justin. I knew Vic from Salisbury fire; we do alot of mutual aide with Salisbury. It is good to see so much support from other states...THE BROTHERHOOD IS STRONG!! Stay safe so that Everyone Goes Home!!
Justin was a wonderful man, just entering the prime of his life and doing what he loved, being a firefighter. Justin was my Nephew and it seems as though I miss him more every day. I watch this video often and even though it brings tears to my eyes it is a moving tribute that shows how much Justin and Victor are loved and missed. Thank you.
Outstanding tribute. My heart goes out to the families of both of these guys. Thank you guys for the life you lived and the hearts you touched. Rest in Peace!
as a salisbury firefighter, firefighter on the scene at salisbury millworks march 7 2008 and someone who knew and worked with justin and vic i would like to thank you with all of my heart! this is a wonderful tribute and very dignified! thank you for your time and hard work putting this video together. words cant express our gratitude for such a wonderful video. thanks again!
thats a well dignified tribute video.....and yes our fallen brothers will be missed but never forgotten...and may god bless there families through these hard times
This is a very touching video. Our prayers go out to the families and friends of our fallen brothers in salisbury. We will never forget you. Rest In Peace Justin Monroe and Victor Isler.
Thank you so much for this. My ex husband and the father of my two children has been with Salisbury Fire Department for 16 years. Please continue to pray for all of our firefighters.
I knew Justin and Vic, they did what they loved to the end and they are forever my hero's! To Rusty,Bradley,John and Capt. Barkley please know that you did everything you could and your bothers & sisters are proud of you each and we wish you each a speedy and full recovery!
There are no words that can ever come close to describing anything that you have, will, or will go through. Just know that our Lord, God in Heaven above has your six. Also... You have two angels that are both near and dear to each of you. You have a direct line to the Big Guy... Just please use it... I emplore you of that... USE IT.... I am a full blown example of what God can do if you let him I hope that I am able to meet each of you and shake your hands....
I can tell you that all that I know are in prayer for you all... The folks at Trinity Baptist in Concord are in deep prayer for you all. GOD WILL PROVIDE AND WILL SEE YOU THROUGH THIS SEASON!!!! FOR IT IS SHORT AND GOD IS GOOD!!!!
Unfortunately you are correct. I am saddented by that fact. I can tell you that I will be doing something about that since I figured out how to use that program Thursday. Plese check back often. It is not for my ego.I do t because God has given me something to do and enjoy doing it. It is theraputic. GOD BLESS YOU ALL...
I agree. One of these men was my brother and I had the same thought during all of the great memorial services. I wish the families of fallen veterans could experience what we did. Thanks for making this great video.
Anyone that sacrifices their life to save another or another's property is by far a true HERO. Thanks guys. May GOD bless you now.
