A LOT of that has still never made it into Gran Turismo. There's never been a "drag" mode, you can't change your racing suit (no biggie), there aren't different weathers and times of day for any courses, the AI was never really improved, and online play with rankings is only coming in now, 10 years later. It's sure an exciting speech, but you wonder why, with "GT 2000" delayed so far as to become GT3, and even GT4, none of the features were ever even remotely included.

Maybe GT5 will include almost all of the features that the producer wants in.

@RunLikeHellIV well, because people are so pushing them to finish it, they probably thought "hey, we'll just include this later, its just gimmicks after all. lets just get the game out"
