Time the Ark was found as it would show whether it was made by aliens visiting earth.  If it contains radioactive components that make critical mass when the lid is opened..... (authorised users would know about the safety catch) As to the stone tablets, laser engraved? (but how would the aliens know the language and fonts?) Intriguing legend.
