@SuperPatriotMom Green is not 'the new red'; environmentalism and communism are not synonymous. Case in point: Richard Alley - a geologist who is a Republican and a practising Christian, but also advocates an effective response to climate change. He points out that, not only is it necessary to embrace renewable energy, it would bring substantial benefits - far from impoverishing America, it would create many new jobs. I highly recommend his documentary, 'Earth: the Operator's Manual', to you.
I wonder how inciteful you are regarding "environmental policy" in England.Environmentalism is being used to take away "private property"with the excuse of "saving the environment". Kind of like what is going on here in the U.S. now. The EPA is shutting down small businesses due to THEIR interpretation of Abuse. When did I say we ARE thriving?I stated that a resource such as oil would ALLOW our economy to thrive. But of course we are only "Users, not producers" right?
Ok, so noone has jobs in your country due to "Greening" it. Now in the U.S. Green is now the new red (Communism).. God created a resource such as oil for us. Does he not want us to use it and thrive? Of course he does...
@SuperPatriotMom The point he's making is not that we shouldn't use the resources that God has provided for us, but that we should be good stewards of creation not ABUSING the resources. And if you honestly think the majority of the world and even American is "thriving" you are mistaken.
So again, pretty sure you missed the point, that or you just don't care about the rest of the world or creation.

according to darklink0112, "Rejoicing in the downfall of the enemies of God is permitted in Psalm 58."
any other christians agree with this? or do they, as christians, believe in loving your enemies?
ps. does telling someone to "mind their own business" count as a "rebuking"? LOL

@nubbs 3 That's a person expressing his own attitudes. As are all the psalms.
The psalms are prayers. Are all prayers holy? No.
