The Grammys are mostly a popularity contest rather than a celebration of artistic achievement. They often nominate and award people, albums, etc. based on sales more than quality. A lot of musicians with major artistic achievements in music haven't received a Grammy or even a nomination, although some of those artists have won only the Lifetime Achievement Award (i.e., Bob Marley, the Who, and Led Zeppelin).

Blue has gotten me thru the most DIFFICULT times of my life, & their music is everliving...And it evolves over & over again,i used to not be able to listen to certain songs w/o sobbing UNCONTROLLABLY.. For instance "Hate Me' granted its a "radio tune" it is SUCH a meaningful song,now I can scream it @ the top of my lungs w/no tears..Its true, you either get Blue October,or you dont AT ALL!
