Ever wonder how he knew Marie was there? I'm wondering that myself. Perhaps he heard the previous conversation outside the door before he opened it and heard her voice. It's not in this video, but just a moment before Robert enters, Marie talks to Ray about his tv performance where he forgot to tell her he was on and she says she'll "forget to watch". That's my guess how Robert knew she was there.

To be truthful, Robert IS a pathetic candy-ass mama's boy and so is Ray. Everytime they had a conflict between Marie and their wives, Marie won. They always gave in to her and never stood up to her. Ray never helps around the house because he got so used to Marie babying him. Ray and Robert are definitely model husbands. I'm surprised Debra never divorced Ray or said,"Ray you going to have to make a choice, it's either me or your mother!" I bet Ray wouldn't be able to decide.
