  • When I weld ethafoam, I secure the heat-gun to the table, with the air directed upwards. It leaves both hands free to manipulate the foam, which is lighter, and easier to handle, than the gun.

    I only work outdoors, upwind!

  • Thank you. I am trying to figure out what to use ordinarily useless things for, other than to fill up a trash bag. I come across this stuff to be discarded all the time.

  • I do. I also work under a ventilator hood and try not to do it when anyone else is in the studio.

  • do you use a air filtering mask? i heard the fumes are deadly toxic.
