It does, and on 1.0 because this wouls only stop working if there was a bug in the redstone mechanics which stopped redstone from working or transferring power from a lever to wire to repeaters OR if pistons screwed up or if you fail completely and canr get legit diamond

If you don't have sticky pistons you could use Gravel aswell for the bridge :)

If you cannot find slimes then for some projects using sand or ravel might work since it is affected by gravity

I've used your tut for bridge making, however i went a tad ott and went 35 blocks long.

The red stone dies on the left side after 10 blocks the red stone gives up. and on the right side after 13blocks.

Any advice to combat this?

why make the bridge greater than 4 blocks long, unless the pvp enemy is making human tnt cannons, they cant really jump it, and making it longer and harder to bridge is not really a advantage at all when you could just add a wall

@spencerak42 yes it does work with normal pistons and sand, or gravel as it has the same effect, just build the bridge, with the redstone and do exactly what he did, but with normal pistons and sand/gravel

Morph this with a pit trap instead of a bridge

And put a sign above the lever saying bridge and they fall ro there doom then make a shaft so you can get down and then make a hidden hallway to get by the lava

@ThisIsNotPictureTube its called mcedit he picked a depth and area and replaced all blocks with sandstone, you can see he has mountains that are cut off straight down he cleared the whole area using it so it would all be flat
