@freeekinsane This is not how she sounds... her voice is going through a pitch correcter. You can hear it in a bunch of places but really noticeably at 2:16. Autotune is not something that is just done in the studio anymore.. there are "real-time" live devices as well. If that thing wasn't helping her out you would be hearing bad notes throughout the whole song. But on the plus side.. she sure is purdy.

The mic is totally "auto-tuned" and she's not performing "Fever" so I don't get the point in all that ahhh and flirting with the camera , the song just doesn't need it. I guess that's what you do when you have nothing other than your good looks. Nina Simone did not have them but you could hear the song come right out of her guts and that's talent. From piano&voice to "auto-tune and looks" and even the best song in the world sounds crap.

Now, i can sing and play the piano or guitar at the same time, it doesn't make me a rocket scientist. My point wasn't about Anggun's piano playing, but directly about the ability of Nina Simone - much more presence, talent and soul. It's easy to be a pop singer when you're a stunning, glamorous brunette. But she can't provide the depth of musicality that Nina can!
