Part 2-What with Odom and Jerry Buss engaged in an ego-fueled stare-down over a new deal. Suddenly, in the minds of many, Odom was a 10-time All-Star. In fact, despite having as much skill as anyone in basketball, he's never even been a one-time All-Star.
Lamar OdomNow don't go getting me wrong. It's wonderful that he stays here. He isn't only a great talent; he's also a good guy and a calming force.
Part 3-Just don't believe for a moment that he's suddenly become a player who will deliver the goods night in and night out. Memories are powerful, and sometimes fickle.
We forget, after this last playoff run, the unexplainable pratfalls that have pockmarked Odom's career. Bynum only avg 8 reb per game in the 2008-2009 reg season and just 3.7 reb per game in the 2008-2009 playoffs. If you asked any of the Lakers who would they rather have on their team Odom or KG everyone on the team would say KG. And Phil Jackson would laugh at that question.. I could care less about the birdman he has nothing to do with the Celtics. It looks like Bynum may be always coming off an injury. A player having operations on a knee at such a young age is not a good sign especially when weighs 285 lbs. That's a lot of weight his knee may not take a lot more punishment. He may be a player like Bill Walton was who had constant injuries and was unable to play often.

love nba and congrats to LA but they did not own doublexax...and drdeb...shaq won 1 before kobe....he finally caught up to him. game 2 lee missed the layup to win. game 3 howard missed both FT which only needed 1 to win...it was neck to neck and to me orlando just blew it which caused the lakers to win and steal the credit for orlando mistakes....they are unexperienced and young...now if they werent...orlando would have won which comes to dsay there will be no repeat. thats the facts not hate
