the idea that matthew was killed for being gay is BS. i don't know whether or not the convicted hate gays, but that is another matter. 1 in 10 people are gay. and there are 12,000 murders down in the usa. are you going to tell me that 1,200 people a year are being killed for being gay?
@eveoradam did you just say you love my user name? lol, i am surprised people on youtube can actually "love" a user name considering the fact that they aren't even alive or physically present. but i know youtube is a site full of idiots.
@ultradumbass You realize that was the defense in the case. That they beat him up due to "gay panic" because he supposedly put the moves on him. They basically admitted it.
@TheRockStar2be123 i don't ever trust what the court says. also i am mainly defending the defenders because there are many questions that have not been answered, or people jump to conclusions. i don't think it will ever be known what happened. nobody in the defence including their girlfriends came up with the same version, even police reports seem to be very blurred by numerous reports of the scene. one is the chain bruises i hear about. for all we know he tried to escape and hurt himself more.
@TheRockStar2be123 when you are tied up for a long period of time, people will get desperate enough that they will injure themselves more. if aaron and russell both say they didn't intend to kill him, and both say they don't know how badly they got him, that means there is the question of whether matthew injured himself trying to escape. in 2002 in alberta this guy had a boulder fall on his arm while hiking, and he literally sliced it off after several days to try to escape.
@ultradumbass I have a few points of which I would like to debate, but will choose not to. I will only tell you, that the defendants themselves claimed that the reason they attacked him was "gay panic." The defendants themselves said that, not the court. That's all that I will say.
WEll greg i will be playing your charator in the play in my town ill be sure to do you justice :)

I wouldn't believe anything Aaron McKinney says. Let's remember that he pledged not to talk about it, then allowed ABC's 20/20 make a mockery of it.
