  • She sings well, and I would've loved the lyrics if I had never heard the Japanese original. But the original lyrics about a daughter singing to her mom is far too emotional and lovely.

  • Very nice song! But having understand both the Japanese and Cantonese lyrics.. this one definitely pales.

    There are feint taint of sadness in Momoe & Shirley's version, but this one, both Marlene's powerful vocal and the sentimental melody are certainly wasted. Blame it on the lyrics perhaps..
