the only bad thing for high elves are japanese looking..Thats just weird, i only select two types of looking elf every time i create a charater for fun.And for sword master, they and blackguards are the best dps tank...i mean they are tank but they are best dps in tank section...i also love enchants on swordmasters's sword.and the way of his strkies (combos) are fun to watch:)

Official release date is September 18th. There are going to be a ton of ways to customize your character's appearance...and not just with different armor sets. You'll also have trinkets you can add to your character to make them unique (and armor dyes).
i think the problem with wow is that everyone has like a lev 70 account cos the games so old. i like the idea of the new one where everyone starts from scratch
WoW was fun while it lasted but end game is ridiculous and requires atleast 3 hours to get ANYTHING done. the RvR and PvP play in warhammer sounds like you can hop on and have fun for 30 minutes and still progress while at a high level. if you want big shoulders be an orc :)
i see here that u only can have like 10 spells out if so its not so good ive played guild warswere u only can have like 6 spells out and thats just boring ! somebody who knows the answer if u onlyccan have 10 spells out ? but witout that in mind this game looks really cool and im ´certain im going to buy this game when its coming out! glhf evrybody
The armor system is not set up like wow. You earn different SETS from Tome of Exp, RvR, Dungeons. Saying that there are ways to customize that set with guild hearalds and dying your armor different colors.
Will this game have like Shoulder pads chest peices leg armour bracers all that like in wow ? not that bullshit in guildwars where everything looks the same and the shoulders are small as fuck and crap
well no. there will entire armor sets which look very unique from eachother. plus you can dye those and if you sean the dyes they look like differents sets of armor. and the shoulders are really based on which class you have. so if you want massive shoulders and brtal looking armor go for a chosen or a black orc. (my faves :D)
shoulders are supposed to cover your shoulders maybe a little bit of your neck..not half your fuking body like the cartoonish shit in wow to make the kids happy.

This game has a lot of similarities to WoW and a LOT of differences. If you've only ever played WoW when it comes to MMOs, than I would just suggest that you try this out with the expectation that it will be very different.
That being said, I believe this game will replace WoW for me... Finally.

WoW is awsome at the begining but later on it's so friggin repetitive. Plus we people don't change anyting in the story of the game, none of our combined efforts or raids to example Stormwind count or gives anything just some laughs and a lot of repair gold!. PvP BG are after a while truly boring Alterac valley for example is so frustrating. Good game but truly a waste of time if you want to get to do what you'd like to do. yeah, with the loss of the careers and city it gives them a huge time to perfect tother classes and 2 cities, fixing it up and even adding new abilities in the classes aswell as extra public quests in the city (from what ive heard)
not happy with it. WoW still has the upper hand here. maybe the pvp content goes more indepth but the graphics and movement are just too sketchy. WoW is still the better game imo.
Have to remember vjesczi, this footage is damn near a year old. I was in WOW's beta a year before launch, I could tell you how crappy everything looked at the time. The animations are all alot smoother then they were in this video and are still being polished. The other thing is, this is a PvP oriented game, not PvE. There really is no way to compare the two.

They are looking to have it run on PCs that are about 3 years old. It's a bit more graphic intensive then WOW. Main factor is with battles of 100s of players all at the same time, a newer system will not lag as bad do to trying to render everything. But they are trying to keep all that in check. With any luck, you'll be able to run it.
well since the skaven were ment to be in the first draft of the game before ea mythic got involved and theres apparently some skaven in the later parts of the game they'll probably be an expansion race, and i wouldn't say goodbye to theses classes just yet ;)

We were discussing that at Origins this weekend while playing that the videos just don't do it justice. When actually playing the game it seems a hell of a lot faster. When playing in RvR it can get quite ridiculous.
If you play AoC I would suggest trying WAR simply because the build of WAR will allow it to much larger battles between players then AoC. WAR can already run hundreds of players fighting in one location at a time. And it's still months until release.
One more thing guys. I try to keep things legal in my videos and threads. I won't post remarks about selling accounts, or private servers, or info that's NDA breaking. I know many people in the gaming industry and they work hard to keep you entertained. They deserve to be both respected and paid as any other entertainer should. So please, keep stuff within NDAs and TOSs for the respective companies. Thanks.
alot of ppl had high hopes for AoC, but guess what? it failed. AoC looks alot better then warhammer and i dont think hardly anyone is gonna play warhammer after 4 weeks of it coming out.... all i can say is good luck warhammer
Any one who read my write ups about AoC didn't have any hope for it. It all depends on where you get your information from. As for AoC failing...I have friends who work at Blizzard that play AoC, may want to talk to them. AoC's biggest flaw was they ran out of funds too early. They had to either sell, or publish. They chose the latter.
Mythic is being backed by EA who makes more money then Blizzard per month. I don't see a premature release of WAR. Then again I read before I make statements that might make me look stupid.
Further more, your second uneducated stab at Warhammer is the reason it will last much longer then AoC. AoC looked better. You needed a damn high end rig to play it. Very, very few people have $1,600-3,000 to waste on a computer to play an MMO. Warhammer Online should be playable on PCs up to 3.5 years old. That's a much larger demographic then AoC had. Once again folks, please read up before coming in here and making yourself look stupid.
6 of my guild members got to play it for the first time this weekend. Damn near had to pry them off the game.
As to whether or not you will find it fun motherlode, I cannot be sure. They have alot of new and exciting stuff going on both in PvE and PvP, so it has potential to work for everyone.
Balanced PvP, The whole idea of Realm vs. Realm which was very successful in DAoC, Public Quests, Tome of Knowledge. Plus a bunch of other things which I am still unable to discuss. And this was built on 25 years of pre-written story. The only other complete fantasy world as rich in history is Middle Earth.
Oh, I almost forgot...Keeps, and Capital Cities which can be seiged and captured. 6 races with 4 classes each, meaning 24 unique classes at launch, which each have three paths of mastery. Add in tactics and morale abilities...it's hundreds of combinations of character builds.
Living Guilds and Cities. They both level too. Minimal instancing. Most of your fighting you do with all your friends...not just some.
Almost makes you wonder what the hell is good about any other MMO...
Indeed the warhammer world is really great, even as good as Tolkiens middle earth. There will be a lot of warhammer nurds (like me) who will at least try the game.

I think we'll see many of wow's hardcore pvp community switch over to war, because from the look of it the RvR in WAR eclipses the repetitive pvp that wow offers. WAR wont destroy WOW but i think its going to put a huge dent in WOW's pvp community.
WAR looks susch a great game, i wanna buy it... but dont know can my comouter take it. Wow works fine but i think this game needs more powerful computer. Same problem was with aoc, didnt buy it because my computer couldn't take it.
BTW AOC is amazing and has alot less glitches than WoW did when it was launched. So ZoraZoldier i would sugest you take another look at AOC if you love questing and exploring try out AOC if your a hardcore pvper try out AOC too the pvp isnt bad its fun in a group, but i have to say the RVR on this Warhammer game looks very dedicated to its obvious the pvp was a big thing to them.
The combat system looks a bit boring though, just like WoW... Don't get me wrong the WH franchise is great but I wish they'd made the combat system more interactive...

Oh lord, wow's enivorment is too simple! there are no Mindblowing effects or anything...there's only this Phong like unrealistic Lightblend effect.
The Texture dimension/resolution sucks ass.
And I've played wow...had a lvl70 warr a long time ago, so I know =P

WoW is awsome at the begining but later on it's so friggin repetitive. Plus we people don't change anyting in the story of the game, none of our combined efforts or raids to example Stormwind count or gives anything just some laughs and a lot of repair gold!. PvP BG are after a while truly boring Alterac valley for example is so frustrating. Good game but truly a waste of time if you want to get to do what you'd like to do. PVP!No more instances!! free at last from "ninjas"!

yeah this being revovled around PVP instead of just however you wanna play makes it completely different...and also the freedom of this game puts it in a totally different category than WoW...i still like WoW though , its a fun game...im def. getting this when it comes out though if my computer can handle it

yeah, with the loss of the careers and city it gives them a huge time to perfect tother classes and 2 cities, fixing it up and even adding new abilities in the classes aswell as extra public quests in the city (from what ive heard)

not happy with it. WoW still has the upper hand here. maybe the pvp content goes more indepth but the graphics and movement are just too sketchy. WoW is still the better game imo.

Have to remember vjesczi, this footage is damn near a year old. I was in WOW's beta a year before launch, I could tell you how crappy everything looked at the time. The animations are all alot smoother then they were in this video and are still being polished. The other thing is, this is a PvP oriented game, not PvE. There really is no way to compare the two.

They are looking to have it run on PCs that are about 3 years old. It's a bit more graphic intensive then WOW. Main factor is with battles of 100s of players all at the same time, a newer system will not lag as bad do to trying to render everything. But they are trying to keep all that in check. With any luck, you'll be able to run it.

well since the skaven were ment to be in the first draft of the game before ea mythic got involved and theres apparently some skaven in the later parts of the game they'll probably be an expansion race, and i wouldn't say goodbye to theses classes just yet ;)

We were discussing that at Origins this weekend while playing that the videos just don't do it justice. When actually playing the game it seems a hell of a lot faster. When playing in RvR it can get quite ridiculous.
If you play AoC I would suggest trying WAR simply because the build of WAR will allow it to much larger battles between players then AoC. WAR can already run hundreds of players fighting in one location at a time. And it's still months until release.

One more thing guys. I try to keep things legal in my videos and threads. I won't post remarks about selling accounts, or private servers, or info that's NDA breaking. I know many people in the gaming industry and they work hard to keep you entertained. They deserve to be both respected and paid as any other entertainer should. Any one who read my write ups about AoC didn't have any hope for it. It all depends on where you get your information from. As for AoC failing...I have friends who work at Blizzard that play AoC, may want to talk to them. AoC's biggest flaw was they ran out of funds too early. They had to either sell, or publish. They chose the latter.

Further more, your second uneducated stab at Warhammer is the reason it will last much longer then AoC. AoC looked better. You needed a damn high end rig to play it. Very, very few people have $1,600-3,000 to waste on a computer to play an MMO. Warhammer Online should be playable on PCs up to 3.5 years old. That's a much larger demographic then AoC had. Once again folks, please read up before coming in here and making yourself look stupid.

6 of my guild members got to play it for the first time this weekend. Damn near had to pry them off the game.
As to whether or not you will find it fun motherlode, I cannot be sure. They have alot of new and exciting stuff going on both in PvE and PvP, so it has potential to work for everyone.

Balanced PvP, The whole idea of Realm vs. Realm which was very successful in DAoC, Public Quests, Tome of Knowledge. Plus a bunch of other things which I am still unable to discuss. And this was built on 25 years of pre-written story. The only other complete fantasy world as rich in history is Middle Earth.

Oh, I almost forgot...Keeps, and Capital Cities which can be seiged and captured. 6 races with 4 classes each, meaning 24 unique classes at launch, which each have three paths of mastery. Add in tactics and morale abilities...it's hundreds of combinations of character builds.
Living Guilds and Cities. They both level too. Minimal instancing. Most of your fighting you do with all your friends...not just some.
Almost makes you wonder what the hell is good about any other MMO...

Indeed the warhammer world is really great, even as good as Tolkiens middle earth. There will be a lot of warhammer nurds (like me) who will at least try the game.
For you who doesn't know what warhammer is; it's a miniature tabletop game. Nowdays there are many warhammer RTS games, a role-playing game and some more stuff.

I think we'll see many of wow's hardcore pvp community switch over to war, because from the look of it the RvR in WAR eclipses the repetitive pvp that wow offers. WAR wont destroy WOW but i think its going to put a huge dent in WOW's pvp community.

BTW AOC is amazing and has alot less glitches than WoW did when it was launched. So ZoraZoldier i would sugest you take another look at AOC if you love questing and exploring try out AOC if your a hardcore pvper try out AOC too the pvp isnt bad its fun in a group, but i have to say the RVR on this Warhammer game looks very dedicated to its obvious the pvp was a big thing to them.
