"Unprincipled Liberal" is redundant. Those liars would say anything to get power and keep power and control the purse strings to enrich themselves and their friends and bribe dim witted voters.
I voted for Tory and now he has allowed an opportunity to break his promise on school funding . Had I known he was backtracking I would have voted for another party. I think if a candidate changes his promise mid stream then we should have a chance to revisit our vote.
This is not such a bad idea. Those against full funding of Catholic schools attack the BNA act by saying that section is no longer relevant Well, either is the section about funding the other system. For the 21st century we need a 21st century idea-freedom to chose. Let's give the parents a voucher and let the market keep tabs on the teachers.
Jim Watson is a confused liberal politician, who fails to see that public school can be delivered in a multitude of ways. If a school receives total funding it must use the provinces curricula, the provinces teachers and be subject to ministry inspections. I agree we should not subsidize a private school if it doesn't want to use our curricula, our teachers or be subject to ministry inspections.
Dalton believes in totalitarianism when it comes to education. Competition, parental choice, getting a second opinion are impossible in one size fits all Ontario.
Democracies are based upon choice and choice is what drives a healthy market. But when it comes to Ontario's educational system totalitarianism rules supreme.Because of this parents must accept that their children may flounder in an unaccountable system which is so lacking in transparency that it's almost as private as the nations bedrooms.

I think Hampton is the only one I know is not lying.. Both Tory and McGuinty are lying
The one good thing Tory did was allow religion and faith discussed in open dialog.
Slavery eventually ended in the US The catholic school board will be amalgamated into the public board, hopefully sooner then later.

I think it would be to the benefit of the people reading your post if you presented a definition the word totalitarianism - in your own words.
