I can match his voice, it is challenging at first because I know back in Chiodos he would raise his voice a lot and I was new to it whereas D.R.U.G.S. its seems as if he is putting little effort into his vocals. Correct me if i'm wrong but that's just my opinion, I am one of those people who have to experiment with the song for like 3-4 times to call it music to my ears. Craig is a dead singer, he is one of my favorites.

Craig Owens can now work on his solo project without any distractions. The thing is he will be making less income making it more challenging, frustrating perhaps. No one needs to follow his pain but to overcome his obstacle. I hope his diligent work becomes a duet with someone special. If my band ever reaches the top, i'll have a shout out too this guy and create the perfect scene for his past. Were all hoping to find him in a single song or a full on album. Old time fan of Chiodos, back when they were Chiodos Bros.
I later moved on to listening to modern hardcore. The screamo scene is dead kids. This album was the pinnacle of screamo, tied with DGD's Downtown Battle Mountain. All the other stuff is gay, and the new Chiodos stuff is bad. I gave Owens props for using subtle Bukowski references in the lyrics, and on this album having a pretty wide vocal range. Without Owens Chiodos is lost.
I havent heard the new singer yet, but I believe the band will continue to be amazing. They will most likely expand more with the new lead vocalist and the instrumentals will probably fit perfectly with the new singer. Chiodos is the most unique and amazing band ever xD.
i love how everyone believes that this band is nothing without craig owens. The amazing instrumentals are the reason why this band became famous. NOT CRAIG

@SorasNobodyXIII I have to disagree with the opinion that anyone can play any song with practice. there are plenty of songs that most people just cant play even with tons of practice. case in point tool. their drummer does things unfathomable even by people who have been playing their whole lives. or dance gavin dance for example has an amazing guitarist but people dont realize that because the untrained ear only hears the predominant part which is the singer. craig owens solo thing flopped.

@SorasNobodyXIII a singer without a band is like a quarterback without a line. he may be the best of the best but that ball isnt going anywhere with out a team. just give chiodos a break craig is still doing well in drugs and he lost very few fans. the ones who got screwed were all the members left in chiodos. brandon has a good voice but he also has big shoes to fill. hes trying and he still is setting the band apart just in a different way

people drift apart all the time.. musically, personality. so stop crying about it and embrace the 2 awesome bands that have come from what was initially thought to be a massive disaster. New chiodos is amazing, and the drugs previews sound super epic as well.

Tell you the truth the new singer is actually pretty good. I myself thought, they shouldn't even call themselves the chiodos anymore since they got rid of Craig but they are pretty good. Craig is coming out with a new band called D.R.U.G.S.

Looks at FFTL, Alesana, Hawthorn Hights, Metallica, Slayer. Evanescence. All those bands had one or more person leave.
