My PSP works great with my CFW! It's a PSP 3000 And I use it with a 4gb Memory stick DUO PRO And no pandora battery. I play homebrews like lamecraft, nesterj, and gateway. Yeah, you have to start up cfw every time you turn on the psp, and you loose more battery power without the pandora, which makes it need to be charged alot more, but hey, it's better than having to buy games on the market, right? Wait- that didn't come out right. I don't pirate games, I download homemade legal and free games.

Youc an turn it on by removing MEMORY STICK and BATTERY and PLUGGIN IN CHARGER. It should turn on. I managed to fix mine by installign a differnet CFW on it! If you want some help on it PM me, i might be able to help you get your PSP back :) but firstly make sure that youre PSP turns on via the method i provided :)

Confirming that this works. I have an older PSP version 1004 (says on the bottom).

Followed the instructions and np. That photo doesnt always load but just keep on retrying and really do reset the settings and dont have your USB cabel plugged in. Anything might help.

Just Jailbreak it with PRO B7/8/9 Because that software runs good and you can Permanend patch it , also when you take battery out of PSP while psp is on . Jailbreak is most of time deleted!!! So you can go back to ofw!

making your battery into a pandora is pretty easy though... just involves taking apart the battery and cutting a certain part of the chip with a knife

Guys that have a Psp Phat don't give up okay. The Egg file is the only one you need. I have a Phat, and it took me awhile to get it working. All I can suggest it not add any files. All I did is I made a Photo folder in the Psp part of my memory stick. Added the Phat folder then just kept trying. If you press X really fast it works. Guys I know you probably think it's not gonna work, but trust me. Mine seriously took like 20 trys. Thumbs up so everyone can have a hacked PSP!

I have a phat so i used eggsploit and it worked on the second try. Make sure that you do default settings and turn off umd auto. I also found (maybe coincidental) that it took shorter tries by taking out any umd you may have in the psp.
