Great Vid man.. You mentioned bout the color cards.. the different color cards represent the amount of times they cruised with the company. there is silver,gold,platinum, etc. bless up..
I enjoyed your spot. I will be sailing on the Imagination for my birthday in Jan '11. Just got back from a 7 day cruise on the Victory and had a ball. It was my first cruise. I understand what you're saying about your experience. I didn't get fleeced just by dumb luck and things worked out well. I didn't drink on the ship, nor buy liquor. Put cash on my S&S card. Skipped formal nights to enjoy the deck mostly to myself. Didn't pack anything anyone would want. See you on the high seas!
@Atoyota I had an amazing time. One day I'll discuss that. You are correct about them fleecing us. I felt like i was among cattle being herded. Only thing that saved me was the folks I ran into along the way.
The last time I cruised was on the Imagination (ironically). At the end, I and my then boyfriend were sequestered for 2 hrs, questioned seperately, & our bags searched because they "heard drugs had been brought into the country". We didn't even smoke weed. What we had was locks in our hair. After the interrogation (how long we knew each other, what we did in the islands, & my highest level of edu., dobermans ran into a room of all parties questioned (we were all Blk.) and sniffed our luggage.
@SugarHillLady Now that you mention it, My mother and I both got caught up going through security. Her hair was an issue. Maybe mine too. I always get pulled out of line at the airport. Hmmmm

@Bujirock yeah but thing is you don't need a cruise to meet and make new friends.
I am not saying all cruises are bad but I'd research them a bit more. Carnival just seems to be like sailing with a bunch of piranhas
