@fauxir I am using Futuredecks Pro software. I did not change the sensitivity on the jog wheels. I noticed with b-dj the software that it came with you can not scratch as clean. The sensitivity is just better with futuredecks pro IMO!!! I hope that helps...
Hi there I have the same BCD 2000 mixer and i'm using future decks pro but when I shut it down tear down equipment to dj it has a problem finding it on my laptop it says new hardware found about everytime so most the time I try to reinstall software sometimes it works but most the time have problems I guess any help would be appreciated Thanks
The Waah sample comes from Change Le Beat - Bee Side. It is the B-Side of Fab Five Freddy's Change The Beat. It is at the end of the track. The version you are looking for is a lady rapping in french. There are about 4 cues that can be scratched on that track.

Is this BCD 2000 durable, and is the soundcard that comes with it good? I've heard fucked shit about it. Been watching vidz to see how the thing works. Sounds good enuff for me. I can scratch and mix on any console though.
As far as durability it is ok. The fader has softened a little over the years. I hook up an ext mixer when I scratch a lot now. As far as the sound card I did have to tweak my computer a lot to get it to work well. Overall for what I payed for it I am happy with it. I hope that helps.
i dont wanna get future decks pro coz im aussie and its to expensive. i got bdj and everything works rite, except i cant use the bcd2000 only using the mouse, and when i scratch on the computer it lights up on the bcd2000, as with on air and play/pause and stuff. wat do i do, plz help. p.s its version 1.2 of bdj and do u know if theres a free version of future decks other than the trial version
Go to Xylio's page and you can download the software. I think you can update the drivers at behringer's site. If you want to scratch you should get futuredecks pro. Good luck.

I tried everything I kan tink of! My boi told me I gotta configure/program it n well im new to dis so im lost...he explained something bout programing each button n wat not but he wont do it for me...wat friends I have huh...any help anyone?
If you go into the configuration and select bcd2000 most of the buttons should work. To configure the A,B,C,D buttons at the top hit the midi learn button and then the options to set it up will appear you can set those buttons up to do effects. If it still does not work let me know.

Ok everything was uninstalled so i decided to try this all over again...n to my luck I got it all to werk!!! But chek dis...no sound...=/! So I exit out the program(bdj) den I turn off the bcd itself and I go look for sum headphones but no luck! Go into configuration and select what ever you are using for your sound. If you have speakers plugged into your bcd2000 then select bcd2000 as your sound source. If you are just using your computer then select your computer sound card. Before you try to open the b-dj make sure the bcd2000 is on and the bcd2000 icon will pop up on your task bar. Sometimes if you turn it off and turn it back on it gets stuck or something. Let me know how that goes.

You can hit up xylio and get it for discounted price since they are not upgraded b-dj anymore. I'm gonna try to post an instructional scratch vid soon as my schedule stops being so crazy.
It depends on what you want to do. If you want to use mp3s from you computer then I highly suggest bcd2000. I believe the Q D5 MKII is just a mixer. I have an external mixer hooked to my bcd2000 because I am hard on faders. Anyway good luck to you. Please let me know what you decide to get.

hows the blending of all this compared to a serato? like i practiced spinning before with my friends tables and serato and i loved it. infact i prefer to be a digital Dj haha. anyway like how is this product compared to serato? cuz i just ordered this and the more vids i watch the more i want it! and damn you are dope wit that piece. like seriously best vids i have seen so far using the BCD2000.
It is not bad. I wish it was touch sensitive but it is not so you have to find ways around that lol.I have never used serato so I can't really tell you anything about it.

It is the aaaaah sound. It can be found where they sale break beats. There is places where they sale them as mp3's which makes it easy for us digital Dj's.

Awesome to see another BCD2000 user scratching away. Great job! I also wish the jog wheels were touch sensitive too. I might need to upgrade to timecoded vinyls in the future and a better mixer in order to do more.
Futuredecks pro is pretty solid these days. There are people using VDJ but I could not get it to work without crashing on my computer. You can get demo versions for both. Futuredeck pro is a half hour at a time. VDJ is 20 days. I ran out of time before I could figure it out. I would try them both if I were you.

Thank you!!! For the money it is ok. It was a real pain to get it up and running. The one big negative thing is the bcd2000 is not touch sensitive so it makes it extremely hard to scratch. If you get it go to xylio's forum and read. If you still have trouble hit me up and hopefully I can help.

Virtual DJ Version 5 not much settings for the controller on there. Just allows you to change the jog wheels for scratching and thats about it.

yeah I just bought it.... very different from B-DJ prog.... its actually eaasier 2 scratch and easier 2 blend... but then again, Ive had mine for about a year.... is the update free???

Thank you!!! For the money it is ok. It was a real pain to get it up and running. The one big negative thing is the bcd2000 is not touch sensitive so it makes it extremely hard to scratch. If you get it go to xylio's forum and read. If you still have trouble hit me up and hopefully I can help.

It is not easy to scratch on it because it is not touch sensitive so I had to figure out my own style lol.
