I love Billy Idol, I saw him in Helsinki, Finland in 05 and he was a lot of fun. The audience was 2/3 full of 45 year old women screaming and showing their bras.

Some folks even brought their kids.

The insane thing is you could get beat up in '83 for walking down the street wearing his t-shirt, but now he is sexy for mom but kid friendly.

I still love his music in any case.

I love how Billy outwardly exudes such arrogance to a lot of people, but he's still an extremely humble and self-depricating dude. Examples: the begining of this clip when he's talking about how he's "still learning" etc. As well, on his VH1 Storytellers performance of "Cradle of Love", he's like "It's cheesy...this song is so....cheesy..." Fuckin' love this guy.

This is actually pretty cool. Though nobody can ever play it like Buffalo Springfield did, Billy did a pretty good cover here: one of the best I've ever heard, actually. True enough to the original yet with a big enough twist to make it original. Good job, Billy.
