  • The band I would add to your list is Oh Sleeper. They are fantastic!

  • kkkk quem eh samael isso eh de comer ? passa no cabelo ?

  • foda se seu deus crstao de merda o meu e samael o poderoso !!!

  • No offense to extol. they got the right message but I think the good lord is more of a rush fan

  • @JAT763 True story is true. ;)

  • @JAT763 No the LORD is the LORD! You is a flesher monger...Circus freak.

  • @Harryson6 now its 7

  • he says the smell of death fills the room

  • my copy of "undeceived" is all jacked-up

  • dont have to be friends with jesus to b a fan of extol

  • @skinstealer its just music ppl can like what ever they want for whatever reason

  • @skinstealer I'm with you!

  • @skinstealer True. I am an Atheist - and I think Extol is a supberb band.

  • @54321SG In particular I like the albums Undeceived and Synergy

  • for sure one of my top bands sence i was a we lil boy

  • absolutely beautiful intro with the cellos

  • 7 ppl listen to justin bieber

  • God Listens... To Extol!

  • @Blix11 No God is EXTOLED!

  • @TheLuotutin I was just kidding. I'm sure you can tell what meme I was putting a twist on.

  • @Blix11 GOD listens to...SLAYER

  • @Harryson6 yeah...but who does'nt?

  • I love how the awesome riff kicks in at 0:35

  • @Harryson6 lol

  • some other great bands are Deliverance, War of ages, As I Lay Dying, Tourniquet, Believer xDeathStarx, and Stryper. There are many great christian Metal bands out there

  • @redruner100 Even Jesus hates As I Lay Dying hahaha

  • @xPsychoxClownx God listens to Slayer my friend. haha

  • @xPsychoxClownx Love As I Lay Dying or hate them, you have to agree. They do have some serious skill.

  • @xSlappykinkaidx I suppose. I haven't listened to them too much cause I hate their music. But if you're playing metal you gotta be at least pretty good.

  • @xPsychoxClownx Thanks. I listen to a lot of music. I used to go to shows & promote shows for years. In fact Ive seen & hung out with both Extol & As I lay Dying, (amongst other bands), when they did shows here.

  • @xPsychoxClownx Could be worse I guess, It could be Avenged Sevenfold. XD. Man oh man those guys turned into a shit sandwich.

  • @xSlappykinkaidx no shit dude fuck avenged sevenfold

  • @myspacedrummer you might also consider that the book of revelations says that when god spoke that his voice was as peels of thunder. that to me is like the gutteral vocal style. it relaxes and comforts me to feel like god is speaking to me in that kind of voice.

  • Ok Christians STFU and enjoy the music.

  • everyone...I want you all to quit arguing on this video, and enjoy the music. Isn't that enough? We all agree that Extol - Undeceived is a beast song?

  • @Harryson6 Uh you forgot the Pioneer of Christian metal the almighty Zao.... and as i lay dying wasn't a christian band it just had christian members.

  • @xdeadwaterx well i would interpret the members being christian as a christian band kinda the way you are what you eat. usually christian bands not claiming to be christians write lyrics that are still pleasing to god(usually, aside from the judgemental finger pointing).

  • @prometheus19799791 yeah but i have been listening to AILD way before you and I know that what they write isnt cristian.

  • @xdeadwaterx i don't personally listen to aild, but zao claim to be christians and a band, but not a christian band. we both know that they do this because otherwise people of non christian beliefs wouldn't give them a chance. in my opinion that is a copout. even though they don't claim to be a christian band they still address issues christians and nonchristians are all faced with, and that is good because it puts us all on the same level instead of being all holier than thou attitude.

  • @Harryson6 Amen.

  • @tKrave :)

  • I love Ole's new style of music! His new album is an instant classic! It showcases how much of a genius and how diverse he really is!!! He is killing on vocals and guitar. I was fortunate enough to see and videotape the Synergy lineup of Extol twice! I'll have to post my videos on youtube soon. Ole Borud is officially the only person that can say he toured with Opeth, Living Sacrifice, and Kirk Franklin! How dope is that?

  • How does it not glorify God? Doesn't fit your idea of what praise music should sound like? Different styles for different people, get over yourself. Closed minds, closed hearts, and the misrepresentation of true Christianity have really given a sickeningly perverted connotation to Christianity in these times. If you don't like it or can't handle it, shut the hell up and don't listen to it. As if Christians have to listen to DC Talk or contemporary music, lame.

  • @oneaware Now that Praise and Worship fits into a neat "genre" it is just another form of pop music. True Praise and Worship transcends genre and comes from the hearts of people that love God and want to glorify Him the best they can with the gifts that He has given them, even if they know how to play Opeth style vs Michael W. Smith

  • @dapianoman76 I couldn't agree with you more.

  • @oneaware Did you ever think that maybe the reason that Christianity has been misrepresented so sickeningly in these times is because Christian's today tell people to shut the hell up?

  • @JohnWM816 Nope, can't say I had ever thought, nor would I, that idle words account for the scope of misrepresentation. Pardon me, but get over yourself. Self righteous hypocrisies account for the majority of Anti-Christian sentiment.

  • @oneaware Oh my. Can you point out to me one instance of self righteousness that I've uttered in my brief conversation with you sir? Your repeated put-downs to other Christians seems more self righteous to me! Pardon me, but I feel lead to go read about the Pharisees for some strange reason!

Anyways, good choice in music! Extol is pretty rad.

  • @JohnWM816 I wasn't referring to you in particular. I guess you were well in your right to nitpick my choice of words. That's ok with me. Nor am I repeatedly putting down other Christians, just simply tired of the humanistic distortion of the Message, which is first and foremost Love. I am well aware of my inherent faults being born into sin and corruption. As such, I am no better than anyone else and as filthy as they come, though redeemed by the Blood.

Good band and great song, agreed.

  • @oneaware Well said. I'm sick of the world condemning Christianity as a yuppy and cheesy thing. Different types of music encompass the spectrum of human emotions. Anything else would be monotony!

  • i love the music donet get me wrong, and im sure the lyrics are awesome, but the screamin, demon type lyrics kinda throw me off sorry

  • @bobvinson2002 demon type lyrics? I'm sorry are you familiar with a little book called The Bible? It's not too pretty if they made the bible into a movie it would be rated nc-17.

  • @xdeadwaterx Well..they did the Dying on the cross...but it wasn't entirely accurate..>But thats only part of it Lol. YOur right about that

  • @xdeadwaterx

    for ULTRA-FUCKED UP ROMAN VIOLENCE.

i just had to type it sorry

  • how do these types of singers bless god with their worship?

  • @bobvinson2002 Why not? xD

  • @bobvinson2002 lol idk its just pretty awsome in there language and there voice xD

  • @bobvinson2002 Well, they're playing their music in the midst of a wretched musical subculture, sort of like how Jesus sat with the thieves and the prostitutes. and besides, shout the the Lord brotha!

    Psalm 98:4

Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth; Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises.

  • Who cares if they're Christian or not? This is quality death metal and should be taken as such. Besides, they were good enough to tour with Opeth :)

  • @tangalang15 true that. this song is epic

  • @deathencasedimmortal To bad their album "The Blue Print Dives" isn't like this one...It's less heavy. A LOT less heavy...>.<;

  • @deathencasedimmortal the swedish no how to do metal....metalically brutal. just thought id get that out there.

  • @deathencasedimmortal ehm.. its from norway

  • @selfmindead777 No, this is from the Netherlands.

  • @Harryson6 check out wikipedia - Extol

    It's definitely from Norway

  • @galkasajdd I guess your right. I remember reading they were from the netherlands. My mistake.

  • @Harryson6 you could be thinking of slechtvalk they are from the netherlands

  • @Harryson6 eh.. NOOO norway! trust me! I have met some of them!

  • There something about Satan that makes music soooo much heavier :p

  • BURNING BURNING BURNING!!!!!

  • i know some one whos going to hell

  • @ateaturd

No, you don't. You don't know your gods judgement, no one does. Don't say you know when you really don't.

  • People can you all do me a favor and do the following:

    1) No arguing about if theres a god or not, or anything else relating to theism

    2) appreciate the song, and its total bad ass quality

    3) tell people about this song, and band and ask them to comment, rate, listen to this song.

  • Anyone know where i can find extol-enthralled on here? I've listened to it on youtube before but i forgot the link and search comes up no good.

  • gotquestions(dot)org

    Ask it if God exists.

Check out the result about if there is an argument about the existence of God.

  • Honestly, Why would anyone want to believe there is nothing after death?

  • @Harryson6 its easy... u might beleive theres a good place... but what if ur wrong... what if theres is no heaven? thats all ur aiming for is an eternity of suffering... i would rather belive thats the end is the end

  • @ZoCow89

What i ment is, the belief of nothing after death is kind of...not a happy ending? I wouldn't ever want to believe in something like that. Total nothingness is completely boring, not you'd be able to comprehend it. Dying and finding nothing is like reading a series of books and when the next book is being written, it never comes out. Ever, and your stuck on what you last read. Not something I'd look forward to. Rather spend an eternity in hell than nothingness.

  • @ZoCow89

Whether nothingness is the truth is something we have yet to find out, I just hope for something more. I don't have much faith in any god. But I have faith in something more than just complete abyss.

  • @Harryson6 exactly what iv ben sayin

  • hail satan

  • @addeex1 u do know extol is cristian right?

  • @addeex1

    >o>;

    Nice comment lol.

  • @Harryson6 everything to piss of christians

  • @addeex1

Not many people are pissed Lol. I insult christians just by walking out in public because of the t-shirts I wear...Lol. Cannibal Corpse, Slayer, iron maiden, Black Sabbath. Stuff like that haha.

  • @addeex1

Not many people are pissed Lol. I insult christians just by walking out in public because of the t-shirts I wear...Lol. Cannibal Corpse, Slayer, iron maiden, Black Sabbath. Stuff like that haha.

  • @Harryson6 and how do you know that many people are not pissed?

  • @addeex1

Well, I can tell if someone in their personal mind is mad or not, but from anyones writing tone I can tell.

There probly was someone I didn';t see who replied to your comment with hate. But, It's w.e.

  • @Harryson6 Ye I agree, w/e.... Kinda no-life to try to insult people over internet, but if you have the chance, I mean, it may do a little damage hehehe

I usually don't dress up in "metal-clothes" and stuff like that, people who get the chance to know me a little often knows my opinions about religion and shit

  • @addeex1

I normally always wear band t-shirts, like right now I'm wearing a bob marley t shirt!

And btw, jedi mind tricks is awesome. And the song heavy metal kings.

  • @Harryson6 oh yeah thank you :D I guess you've heard my little remix ^^

  • @addeex1

I did. Although I love metal, I also like underground rap.

  • @Harryson6 Ye I listen most to harder techno and those genres, but also a lot of rap and death/black metal, a whole lot of Anaal Nathrakh

  • @addeex1

hardstyle rave is great music. theres a song called Fuck on Cocaine by dj caffeine err..something like that that is amazing

  • man I haven;t listened to extol in the longest time... sure as heck missed it... imo one of the most original bands out there back in the day.. too bad there won't be anymore :( even in their later days they still kept me interested... oh well guess God had something else for them in mind

  • You totally left out Brian Head welch in your list, as well as Demon Hunter and Thousand Foot Krutch.

  • like the song. are there two bands called extol? just listened to another song which was very polished and weak and with clear voices. I recommend As I lay dying and Living sacrifice ("In Jesus") to everybody, christian or not

  • The soft you were hearing was Extol in there most recent years right before they broke up.,

  • hey, i love extol, and all the other bands you listed, though there is many many more, including: horde, august burns red, discern, crimson moonlight, crimson thorn, bless the fall, haste the day, a plea for purging, and tons more

  • why are people arguing about god? isn't it more about the music?

  • cool song, i'm an atheist but i have respect for other persons beliefs and can appreciate things like this

besides christian metal/rock it's not so bad, i just focus more on music instead of lyrics :P

(but i prefer some common black, death, heavy or whatever metal)

    greetings :)

  • I love this album, it's just the best! The drummer is just awesome, awesome I tell you!!

  • I heard about this band from reading the wiki article on Believer(best Christian metal band ever). Other bands would be Mortification, Seventh Angel, Tourniquet, and Vengeance Rising. The singer from Vengeance Rising left the band and became an atheist.

  • i dont think they are.. at least in my opinion.. usually hiatus is like a temporary break up.. but if they get back together they need to get heavy again like this and burial.. dont get me wrong blueprint was fantastic.. but this is way better

  • some other christian metal bands are: august burns red, demon hunter, war of ages, haste the day, Brian Head Welch, crimson thorn. these are also good bands

  • definitely one of my fave songs. sends chills down my spine every time. =)

  • extol - undecieved is one of my all time favorite records right next to cannibal corpse - eaten back to life :-P

  • Great huh? And CC is amazing! Luv the song as well.

  • first time i heard extol i was surprised christians could even make this kinda music =)

    u gotta love em =)

  • Indeed. They are amazing! ^^ But I don't believe in any kind of music when it has to do with worshiping god. it's all the same! ^^

  • no its not, if you don't believe in that kind of music why do you have it on youtube?

  • is extol done for?

  • Wish they weren't... :(

  • idk

  • this is badass

  • I can hear the guitar is Extol...

  • excelente

  • To all those who have the ballz to sit here and spend their time and argue on my video should just quit it already, can't we all just agree that this song, this band is amazing, and deserve a bit of respect. Good job at showing it by posting hate over a dumb youtube comment box. Thanks you all!

  • Welcome to Youtube, where all civility seems to go out the window. Sux, but thats the way it is. On a different note, Extol rocks!!!

  • I am aware. ^^

  • nice.. but old school rules.

    mortification, crimson thorn

  • mortification's musicians are sloppy and cheesy, and i've only heard one song of theirs where the production didn't suck.

  • @b34nsNc0rnbread hey at least they gave it a go with the resources they had at the time bro.

  • Check out some "Benny Hinn" video's, like this one:

    > watch?v=sthm3vH6ixY

People are falling like this on churches i visit too. They explained to me that God is healing them spiritually or even physically.

But no, i never heard of a Metal church. I do have heard of a rock church.

But i mean: play this song in a "regular" church, like a katholic church or something.

Btw, i would like to visit a metal church :D

    sounds great :D

  • If you dudes like this band, check out mine....deus invictus....on myspace. new album coming out. we're a progressive-melodic death metal band based on faith. We're from Atlanta GA.

  • i think i'm friends with you guys on myspace

  • You know? A church: a large building where poeple are listening to a guy reading the bible. Offcourse, you've also got different (better) where God rules. After a nice worship and praise, some guy will start preaching and when the guy start praying, people will fall like dominos while God will do whatever he wants to do while they are sleeping on the ground.

Offcourse, you could be a christian without going to a church, but the bible says you should join meetings...

  • The word Extol in itself means to praise highly.

  • Man... This is.... HEAVY heheh and amazing

  • other amazing christain bands

August Burns Red, The Devil Wears Prada, For Today, The Famine, Oh Sleeper, War Of Ages, The Advent, Demon Hunter, The Showdown, and Red

  • August Burns Red, War Of Ages, Soul Embraced, Becoming The Archetype, Mortification.

  • amazing lyrics

  • also try Crimson Moonlight

  • +1

I have uploaded a song from my favorite album from them, will upload more later. check em out!

  • some other christian metal bands are Place of Skulls and Immortal Souls.

  • and The Devil Wears Prada

  • its got the making of a good song just needs louder guitar and to be abit faster... but wat the hell is up with that stupid little flicking noise at about 2mins 15 seconds!? it ruins the song for me =/

  • Love this song :D:D so fucking good!!!!!!

  • This Is some CRAZY STUFF!!!

  • why job for a cowboy, suicide silence, and demon burger are being compared to melodic brilliance such as extol is beyond me...this album destroys anything they've ever put out...and this song doesn't speak for the whole album..there are much more tech songs on the entire cd..no lame ass break downs either....

  • and noi their not a Satanist band cause I search and did a study of them for my class just to let ya'll kno

  • lol it's christian :D

  • I think this band is Better than Suicide Silence, Job For A Cowboy, Dimmu kno y cause ppl who complain bout the music shouldn't even post a commit cause if u watch u have an interest but dont complain tht this music sucks cause y were ya'll listening to this musicin the first place?

  • This song is fucking insane

  • wow JFAG and Suicide Silence? how bout no. damn emo kids. listen to good metal

  • i fcking hate stupiid emos

  • Christian music, but it doesn't sound like it :P

  • that's the best kind, lad. :3

  • i don't agree. Extol is the 3rd christian metal band i know and... i really do not like their music. Deliverance = great

    Narnia = great

    Extol = wtf?

    Petra = ok

  • Well, I get what your saying, and it's all about taste, but for people like me, it's our own personal way of saying "HA! We just turned something satanic into something Godly. WHAT NAO?!?!11!?!?!"

    (Ones not included. xD)

  • Nice! Extol, Believer, BTA,Mortification, and Demon Hunter are awesome!

    Jesus Christ Is Lord Forever!

  • amen. :3

  • Lol, that's because "christian" is a subject matter, not a type of sound.

Trying to turn a subject matter into a sound didn't exactly work for the punks, did it?

  • You're right, but still... i cannot imagine this being played in a church.

  • Yeah, praise/worship music isn't made to push musical boundaries and stand as a contribution to the art community, it's there to put you in a mindset and uplift you. The music is a device to support the lyrics, so it takes a backseat.

There's nothing "evil" about metal, that's just how they sell it to tough guys =P It's funny that the imagery sells the compositions so often...

  • i never said it this music is bad, sin, evil or satanic or anything like that. If the message in the music is correct, there is nothing wrong with the music.

The only thing i say is this isn't the type of music i would use to bring any message about the bible or something.

It's not the type of instruments or the speed; that's just great music/sound. Only they shouldn't shout - or whatever you should call it - like this imho.

But i think i just have to learn to listen to it.

  • Sorry, I actually wasn't disagreeing with you or trying to put words in your mouth. I was just sharing an observation.

Just remember, God has used many things to get his message across, so it's really up to Him to inspire and make use of our talents. He might speak through a burning bush one day, or a blast beat and a breakdown the next... I'm glad He likes to shake up our preconceptions of Him, and show us He's not as predictable as our simple minds might tend to think.

  • i looked up these guys' lyrics and read them and i found very few things that could be correlated to christianty. i think the musicians r christians but the music isnt. i myself believe there is no god but w/e helps yu sleep at night. i like music and i wnt let anyones opinion or outlook on it kill it for me. stay metal \m/

  • Good for you! I get so irritated with people who can't listen to music just because it comes from Christians... They are happier with "cooler" topics like viking mythology, virgin sacrifices, dismemberment, or vengence...

The music IS very christian tho. From their band name to many of the songs like "Aperture" in particular. Read lyrics off of Undecieved too. They have built Christianity into their main theme

  • yaa i did alot more research on there guys and read alot more in depth into their lyrics and i take back what i sed about them not expressing their beliefs in their lyrics bcuz they do. but ever so descretely. but whatever as long as i dnt feel like im being preached to while listening to it then ill keep on listening \m/

  • "Foolish is the man, that doesn't believe in God"

  • You're retarded.

    That is all.

  • thanxx but i know i'm right.

  • Prove that there's no God, beyond the shadow of a doubt, then. Otherwise, shut the fuck up, and quit trying to be one of those idiots that think it's so cool to say over the internet that there's no God. You're 16, so you have absolutely no idea whatsoever what the hell you're talking about. PERIOD.

  • well excactly you dont unserstand me.

i don't haven to prove there's no God.

don't say because of all the problems there is no God because you have a own accountability

and i did'nt say that there is no God so what do you maen?

    greetzzzz

  • Why don't you have to prove that there's no God? Oh, wait, I know the answer: It's because you're a 16-year old that thinks he knows everything, and of course those of us that have ALREADY LIVED THROUGH EVERYTHING YOU HAVE AND MORE don't know anything, so why listen, since you're grown up, and again, know every single thing there is to know?

  • i don't say that i know everything don't put me word's in my mouth that i didn't say please.

    thank you

  • you dont answer anymore?

let me see that on you know everything.

when i see your age you should have to know everything.

at this moment i have to deny that.

  • response?

  • Prove there is a God, beyond the shadow of a doubt.

  • Prove there isn't? :o Asking someone to prove their is a good is a dumb question, just like asking someone to prove their isn't. Don't comment garbage on the song, doesn't matter if it's christian or not, it's great music.

  • religion is something that human mind made up. COME ON jesus (maybe) lived for 2000 years ago..... *842938094 thumbs down* but i don't care I stand for my opinion
