  • @LDS4Life71

Sorry....I'm not that way. You'll have to go to the Temple for that. LOL

  • @LDS4Life71

I say I couldn't care less what a liar thinks of me. ROFL

  • @LDS4Life71

That makes both of you liars.....thanks for making my point.

  • @LDS4Life71

Either you or that mental migdet The Backyard Professor because he's reading from the book on one of his idiotic videos and is saying something different. So, which is it........you or him?

  • @LDS4Life71

Stop lieing....the quote on Page 41 of Coe's book does NOT state that.

  • There is no evidence for the Book of Mormon. The BOM describes a high culture with million-man cities with metallurgy, coinage and settled agriculture. Societies like that don't just vanish. Compare the massive society we can't find, with the evidence of the much smaller Newfoundland Vikings

  • Great tune. Where did you find it?

  • At the cornerstone ceremony, President Monson said, "There is a nice spirit here among you. I'm sensitive to the Spirit. I feel it today. There is no place else I would rather be."

  • A crowd gathers to watch the cornerstone ceremony for the dedication of the Kyiv Ukraine Temple held Sunday morning, Aug. 29.

  • As I said the words, `May this be the dawning of a new day for the Church in this land,' we heard a rooster crow in the valley below. A church bell began to chime. Then I felt warmth on my hands and face. After I finished the prayer, I opened my eyes and saw that the clouds had parted and a ray of sunshine was streaming down on the spot where we were standing. Before we could return to our automobile, the clouds had gathered and it began to rain again” (Church News, Sept. 2, 1995, p.5).

  • mormons are twised heres why they believe jesus is not god and that god had sexual relations with virgin mary while "god" was in his human body

  • Read and loved The Book of Mormon...and I am not LDS. But what I noticed is all the people that try to discredit the Book of Mormon, usually don't agree on anything except that the book is false. All their arguments usually don't match up.

  • @thetrophyone

    Heh.....sage observation......

  • @thetrophyone how's this for arguments. the book is written in the 19th century, yet uses 17th century english... strange, no? also... the book claims that the native indians are decendents of the lamanites (from the middle east) when there is clear DNA and physical evidence that they are nomadic and crossed over from siberia. all that in just the first two pages.

  • Kerry, I really wanted to watch this series, but man, those background laughter and noises and such are really distracting... I couldn't even watch any more after the beginning. Anyway, I hope the rest of the series isn't like that.

  • @dennycrane1414

They're not. That's the only one I did it with. Sorry! It was when I first started and was experimenting.

  • Joseph Smith provided us with a few of the "Caractors." He didn't give us an entire alphabet. You, once again, miss out on what is going on .....LEARN first, then come on here and you can at least spout intelligently instead of this blather.

  • So tell me learned one, how would YOU translate the mere sin gle word "God"? Come on, show me in ONLY one word the ENTIRE meaning of this ONE word........

  • What do you want from me Professor? To believe that an Egyptian hyroglyphic for water, means 40 words of something religious, or that the Indians in So. America had such language abilities? Sorry, respectfully we still have to look Joseph in the eye, not in his mouth.

  • To at least acknolwedge that if in other cultures it is not stupid, idiotic, unbelievable, impossible, not realistic that a SINGLE MERE LETTER of an alphabet CAN and HAS been translated into PAGES AND PAGES AND PAGES of information, it is not so gosh damn assinine for Joseph Smith to translate a letter with a MERE 40 paltry words. What is so gosh damn bloody hard to fathom in that? You pretend you KNOW all about how translation works, and you know fundamentally didlly squat.

  • 2) In mathematics, no such abtract in set theory exist for any language, (its been tried by genius, and is shown why) this is because all possible axioms are used up in the domain and have only one range for any set... this is called the incompletenes theory, this means that such a language could not be possible, and can not exist.but only as imagination.

  • Is this subject of translating LANGUAGES mathematics?!? Stick with the subject. Have you EVER seen how incredibly the Jewish rabbis in the Zohar translate a MERE SINGLE ***LETTER**** of the alphabet?! If they can do so for umpteen pages, why the browhaha about Joseph using a mere 40 characters for one item?

  • Zohar text is known as a pseudepigraph, this also applies to other religious (eccentric) types. for example Levi Dowling, wrote 274 pages of his

pen called the Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ. in 1908, first pulblished in 1911, Accended master's matterial.

  • 1) ok...let me try this...using a bit of set theory, All information is one to one to each element of the set, What you are trying to say is the part is more abstract than the whole. or one symbol means a lot of information, or the range captures more information than the domain.

  • O.K., let me get you back on track. The subject here is about translating LANGUAGES. You seem to assume that only a single character can ONLY be translated by a SINGLE character. You are simply, unmistakably totally dead absolute wrong with that.

  • no you miss understand the proof that a symbol code represents one to one...in a field of information...for any language to exist there HAS to be an AXIOM...you simply missed my point...all language is mathematical sets....ok???

  • HOW do ***YOU*** translate the mere single word "God" in only a single word and capture the essential and total meaning of it? You expect Smith to do a one on one translation, then show us how YOU do so.

  • ok, lets meditate on the water symbol or a minuet and see if we all will write down the same translation. lol...

  • Set theory disproves Smiths language directly, because no matter of what your information is, if a very large information comes from a lower set, then you also must have a knowledge base of all possible upper sets. this was never in the minds of primative indian cultures, but seen as imagination playing with symbology.

  • subsequently, riches shorthand with marks added to the symbols, on the Prof. Anthon's script, shows repeat sentence word structures...is clearly seen here. not a memory system of symbols, nor is it believable to be as such.

  • No duh? So repetition in a language is now forbidden?!? You have absolutely GOT to be kidding right? Gee, I wonder if I can find repetition in other books, because they happen to be written in actual languages.......

  • again you have miss read me, the repeat of words show sentences or casual symbols like in a cryctogram, in Anthon script is compared to the smith tranlating using one symbol to mean a large sentences. get to know an an essay, will you?

  • Joseph Smith's 500 page translation of the Book of Mormon refutes your theory that he couldn't do it. He did it, and we have the proof.

  • That has nothing to do with anything...Smith's book is a 120000 word manuscript, (average size for any novel) made by a 24 year old man, started his dictation while going to school in Bainbridge... he finished it in three years with four scibes (dictation = easy book write method) doesnt surprise me that men can write books.

  • To say that smith used one symbol of known egyptian hyroglyphics in this case three wavy lines horizontal, meaning 40 words, is more illusion and falsehood, than fact, and go so far as to use other known hyrogliphics to say makes a book. is also not true, no matter how you may use your imagination.

  • in other words, if such a coded "language" were mathematically possible, we could reduce all the information of the NYC library with all is 44millions of books and other articles into 115 symbols...lol

  • The ENTIRE UNIVERSE is reduced to the symbols of the Hebrew alphabet following the rabbinical thinking. A symbol is in no wise the REALITY but a representation of something larger than itself. Can a symbol be translated in a mere single word? Can you give me an example for its MEANING?

  • three wavy lines means water in egyptian hyrog.

that a no brainer...but you are prehaps siteing Cantor sets, which have a hebrew symbol aleph for to say a very large set. I know of cantor's theory of infinite sets, pages and pages of information on this one idea of infinite sets plus other infinite sets...but the american indians were not set theorists, ...lol!Cantor proved that you can only have one infinite set no matter how many axioms in it...ok...so?

  • Not only do you know NOTHING of languages, you also demonstrate ignorance of what Cantor established. No surprise to me. Cantor did NOT show there was only one infinite set, he showed there were 3.

  • Look up Wiki---"Formal Language." and also Wiki--and Google Cantor's Theory, Read the definition on his "infinite sets" and why they are concluded to be the same. no matter how many sets you may show...here Cantor showed 3 as as example, real numbers as compared to whole numbers, fractions and what not. Cantor was being more concise with 3, but showed how it could be an infinite number of sets, no matter.

  • For should such a high mathematical memory system language code to exist, it could put whe whole enclyclopidia of bratanica on just one simbol, tends to become more imagination. Set theory shows us that all axioms are incomplete to product that much information...because of the one to one relationship, that defines a language set or any language for that matter.

  • what you have here is an abtract mathematical delema, called a memory system code. which is mathematically innert. and cannot be complete. for the number of information (radix alphabet) in the higher region has not expression of the lower axiom. in other words there is no fuction for such a memory system to exist.

  • What you have here is silliness and attempting to avoid the subject. Sounds sophisticated, looks ridiculously silly.

  • Now its you that is sounding silly.

  • Interesting....so a symbol of the cross would mean more that its reality, and so we could write whole books on its meaning....hmmmm does this help?

  • God is an eternal being, so how is a "being" in the universe, a symbol to be translated...I dont get what you are getting at here...a better example is the cross is a symbol, perhaps we could write whole books on the life and death of Christ. but this is not translation, this is something ominous. if every man wrote we would get a different view, but not a translation.

  • Translation IS interpretation, nothing more.

  • About Smith translation characteristics, David Whitmer said that Snith would see one symbol of the plates and with his face in a hat (and stone) Smith said what it meant, David would write each sentence, 1 symbol = a full sentence, is not reformed anything, its just a fantasy, pretending to be a fantasy folks..

  • @Rypaul5217

Have you *EVER* seen how the Jews translate the letter aleph? The Zohar Jews Will absolutely BLOW YOUR MIND WITH THE PAGES AND PAGES OF MEANING A MERE LETTER HAS.............*******ONE MERE LETTER********

  • Interesting that anties get their fingers even on YouTube videoes... cant be critics..... critics should be a bit more grown up. Good proof of how vicious and unreliable they are. Cant get that people believe in them!

  • I think your house is haunted, there are some strange noises in the background......

  • The Family History Library earned its own separate digs first, with the genealogical-research facility moving in 1985 to its current building at 35 N. West Temple, just west of Temple Square.

  • Additional confusion dates to the early 1970s, when the library facilities were both located in the newly constructed Church Office Building — Church History in the east wing, Family History in the west wing.

  • He explained:

The Relief Society, the Prophet [Joseph] told us, is organized after the pattern of the priesthood. When a man holds the priesthood, . . . it requires full dedication and loyalty. . . .

Membership in the priesthood magnifies the man and the boy. Wherever he is, whatever he does, no matter with whom he associates, he is expected to honor his priesthood. . . .

If you sisters follow after that pattern, . . . you will serve your organization, your cause—the Relief Society. . .

  • is that your way of NOT dealing with and keeping your head in the sand?

label it as something and then pretend it does NOT exist?

  • We know that the purpose of Relief Society as established by the Lord is to prepare women for the blessings of eternal life by helping them: 1. Increase their faith and personal righteousness. 2. Strengthen their families and homes. 3. Serve the Lord and His children.

  • When Kristie Crump finally walked out of her front door and ran up the cul-de-sac to safety, water was chest high. She and her son borrowed a boat and paddled back to find the water up to the light switches on the second level. They were able to retrieve only limited papers and clothes. "As difficult as this is to deal with," Crump said, "this makes it easier. You made an enormous input on my house being saved. I can't adequately tell you how I appreciated it. It was phenomenal."

  • My estimation of Mormons has already gone up today. I am a writer and I had 4,000 books in my library and they are all gone, but I do know a little something about American history and I know that ever since the days when the Mormons were run out of Nauvoo, Illinois, you guys have gotten a bad rap in this country and you've gone a long way today in changing minds."

  • I just asked you a simple question. You seem to have a hard time coming up with answers, instead you rather sit there and humor yourself by insulting others-remember your belief is the one whose trying to tear others down. Don't even try to reverse that one me thats just ironic.

Let me ask again, have you ever studied other systems of mind control? It isn't anti mormon simply because it applies to everything to eating habits to religious enlightenment. Its pretty fascinating.

  • I don't study mind control, but I noticed that Brian David Mitchell did.

And you both have the SAME objectives in mind....

  • Ancient prophets saw the current day and provided powerful warnings about modern-day pride, he said. "The Book of Mormon was written for us. It bears witness of Jesus Christ and warns us of the perils of pride, both in prosperity and adversity... Whether in prosperity or adversity, if we are not diligent and faithful, even the elect, even those greatly blessed by the Lord, can fall prey to the great lie and become hard-hearted, self-absorbed, stiff-necked and puffed up in their pride."

  • He told the thousands of students gathered in the Marriott Center for the BYU devotional that pride is manifest through Satan's "great lie" and spoke of the need to follow the contrasting "great truth" of God's plan.

  • Pride and its children — materialism, envy, arrogance, greed, thirst for recognition, lust for control and dominion — have become rampant in our culture and society. Modern Babylon is awash in pride."

  • "Beware of pride! This is the warning voice of the Lord to us now, in our day. We have obtained so much control over the resources of the earth, so much understanding of the biology of life, so much capacity to travel and to communicate instantly that we have become 'puffed up' in our learning and our apparent control and power.

  • The Church needs you. Let us be united and purify our hearts, and establish Zion with one heart and one mind. When we do so, the Holy Ghost will be with you to bless you with gifts and authority."

  • Elder Gary E. Stevenson of the Seventy and president of the Asia North Area and his counselors, Elder Choi and Elder Koichi Aoyagi wrote to participants: "You are the 'today' of the Church in Korea. The strength of the Church in Korea depends on you, and you have the potential to build up Zion. Let us gather to Zion.

  • Many of the revelations occurred in front of groups of people, including Sections 76, 21 and 50.

"That happened quite often," Woodford said. "In Section 39 he's sitting at a conference and he stepped forward and had Sidney Rigdon sit at the table and he dictated."

Fellow volume editor Steven C. Harper said he finds it very interesting and compelling that almost all the people who were present when Joseph Smith had revelations believed that they were from God.

  • She said the deepest desire of the general Relief Society presidency is to help each woman in the church "prepare to receive the blessings of the temple, to honor the covenants she makes and to be engaged in the cause of Zion."

To the women of the church, she added, "Your attendance at Relief Society Sunday meetings will bless you, but your participation in the work of Relief Society will bless the whole church."

  • "Every husband and father should encourage activity in Relief Society. Every woman should come and learn the opportunities Relief Society offers. Every righteous woman has a significant role to play in God's plan and the building up of his kingdom. Relief Society needs you, and you need Relief Society."

  • Concluding, Sister Beck asked the worldwide congregation to realize the importance of Relief Society. "We live in a happy and exciting time of growth in the history of the church, and Relief Society is part of making that history."

Sister Allred said Relief Society is vital to the welfare of every Latter-day Saint home and family.

  • During his historic visit, Elder Perry, along with Elder Rasband and Elder Paul, met and taught missionaries from the Baltic Mission in Riga. In the morning they instructed the missionaries to tap into the hearts of the people by using the Book of Mormon, to always find people to teach through asking for names from everyone, and to take advantage of the power of their companionship and become master teachers.

  • Larry and Judy Anderson with Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is finishing up a floor plan that details every piece of infrastructure, from phone jacks to gas lines, that would be important to know about in case of a building emergency. That information will be shared not only with the leaders of every church organization but also with local emergency responders

  • It was certainly clear than God looked upon Judah's posterity as a lion. That was some sort of compliment or confidence. But then came that troubling part about the lion becoming aged.

Nothing could be closer to the truth. Here was the royal line of Judah, "couched" down in the brush and rocks of a rural canyon community, far from the eyes of other Israelites. Who indeed would rouse the old lion from its hiding place? When and how would the lion rise up?

He gave His life to atone for the sins of all mankind. His was a great vicarious gift in behalf of all who would ever live upon the earth.

  • His gospel was a message of peace and goodwill. He entreated all to follow His example. He walked the roads of Palestine, healing the sick, causing the blind to see, and raising the dead. • He hopes to return abroad next spring to speak at more firesides.

In the interim, Paredes recommends members of the LDS Church and others who are interested in fostering better relations with Jewish people should read an LDS Church

  • this verse is something to read,,

Matthew 22: 24-34, its from Jesus himself, we all know he is absolutely the truth talking about marriage and life after death,

  • This guy is funny. He still doesn't prove anything-everything he plays with is relevant but still have nothing to do with proof of evidence that these people actually existed on America. These people were known to come from Asia. THE BOOK OF MORMON IS STILL FALSE AND UNPROVEN. LET US TAKE A BUNCH OF RELEVANT INFORMATION AND PROVE NOTHING.

  • sounds like you read A LOT of ANTImormon propaganda while avoiding ALL research!

I am sure that suites you well.

  • Anti mormon? so when has American History and central American History been ANti Mormon? just when things get wet you deny all truth to only make up your own, do you know why no university nor school nor organization teaches the book of mormon besides the mormon church as history? its simple, the book of mormon is a good book just like Lord of the Rings, just a fantasy that displays good morals but it has no facts what so ever. perhaps someday you'll get to go to school to learn this.

  • nice SPIN!

if ALL you have is SPIN, Mormons must be doing pretty good!

  • haha ok, education is a SPIN. Thanks for well displaying your stupidity.

you will never be a god.

  • you are FULL of so many very good points.....

    best of luck with that!

  • why thank you! Many people are leaving the church and testifying that it isn't a true church... well, because of education. HAHA.

  • "Many people are leaving the church and testifying that it isn't a true church"

you have NO facts on that, it is PURELY ANTImormon conjecture.

Secondly, Shawn McCraney was excommunicated from the LDS Church for adultery, drug abuse, etc. Is that your definition of an ANTImormon education?

  • "you have NO facts on that, it is PURELY ANTimormon conjecture."

first off, if you have a speculation about something, it doesn't make it a fact nor an opinion- so you have no right to determined their heart. Watch some of the testimonies on my site, a lot of them are men, women, and children old and young who fell in love with Christ.

yup! mr Craney is a sinner! are you?

tell me mr olo have you ever looked at a woman with lust?

well to your perspective, reality and truth is Antimormon.

  • "yup! mr Craney is a sinner! are you? "

so to you ADULTERY is right up there with not honoring your father and mother?

I was wondering how your types JUSTIFY your LIES and ADULTERY!

Now I see why Ted Haggard felt justified.

  • mr olo, what is your point here? your response has nothing to do with what I was talking about. Don't get mad because your mind is backwards in reason. All that you have to offer is irrational statements that is only by opinion and not by facts. your problem here is simple just reading the bible mr olo will you solve it. you never answered my question, are you afraid to reveal yourself? seems to me that you got of that subject real quick.

  • now you are going to tell me you read the ENTIRE Bible?

you guys know full well that you have to skip of a LOT of the bible to make your religion even close to Biblical.

  • Mr olo, again you don't like to answer my question. My my, you threw somethings out there and now you can't even answer my question. Have you EVER committed adultery? Dodging my question to only boast about your ego isn't helping your claims or judgements on others.

I think you need to back it up.

you will never be a god.

  • do you feel you have answered mine?

  • "you will never be a god"

actually I will probably be your god

    Exodus 7:1

"And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. "

  • this verse has nothing to do with people being of deity of God. The hebrews looked at people of higher authorities like rulers, judges and councils as gods. the same word is found in Psa 82:6 and repeated in Jhn 10:34 by Jesus who is speaking about the Law to the teachers- Please read in context don't insert your own understandings that don't exist in scripture.

am i suposed to feel suppressed by your words?

seems you have no fear of God. You should.

    Pro 16:18

    answer my question now?

  • "being of deity of God"

I have NO idea what this means, do you?

  • Of course you don't know what it means.

Deity- is a postulated preternatural or supernatural immortal being, who may be thought of as holy, divine, or sacred, held in high regard, and respected by. HUMANS ARE NOT LOOKED AT AS DEITY if you read the context in hebrew and also greek It speaks about those who are of rulers, judges and councils are also known as gods. but will die as mere men. This has nothing to do with people being deity like the Father or Christ who are one. learn something?

  • You Are absolutely wrong that the Hebrew and Greek says Elohim mean judges. This is simply wrong. Who taught you Hebrew?!

  • First off mr pro, do you know even the reference I'm using? Before you know the reference, I think you need to rethink your judgements on knowledge and teachings. I'm talking about the Deity contrasting the root meanings how hebrews represented rulers and councils of the time. "ye are gods" is shown Psa 82:6, Isa 41:23, Jhn 10:34 and 'elohiym the masculine noun which means a) rulers, judges b) divine ones. who taught you hebrew?

  • The Hebrew word Elohim ALWAYS means God or Gods, never judges. That is a later interpretation from the Targums as Cyrus Gordon proved way back in the 1930's. The Council of the Gods passages you are using shows Elohim means God or Gods. THAT is perfect Hebrew.

  • oh wow...

Look here we go again — mr pro, in grammar, parallelism is a balance of two or more similar words, phrases, or clauses. The application of parallelism in sentence construction improves writing style and readability. Parallelism may also be known as parallel structure or parallel construction. the Hebrews used this style of writing to understand a similar attribute but majority varying from the God (creator). I have no idea what your talking about with Cyrus Gordon.

  • "The hebrews looked at people of higher authorities like rulers, judges and councils as gods"

thanks for making things up! I guess that is how you get to be an ANTImormon!

  • Man your just as bad as the Jehovahs witnesses; they cannot stand to look at the root meanings and understand scripture in context.

Yup, call everything that you don't care to understand antimormon. — it only proves you know nothing of the ancient writings of hebrew and greek. Mr smith had that same problem since he read everything in literal meanings without understanding the root words in context.

  • are you kidding me??? you rather judge it rather than looking it up yourself??

    your so facile.

  • how do you know that I made it up? speak to any Jewish teacher, and they will set you stright oh wait they can't because their ANTImoron!

  • Mr omi, go talk to any Jewish teacher and see for yourself. YOu don't know anything but only what biased information is given to you. That information leads you in circles for so long until you run into a conflict that you don't understand then you judge it thinking you know everything... you don't. Research the original tongue of the hebrews, perhaps it would give you a burning in the bosom an enlightenment like muslims have when getting inspired.

  • nothing like sending others on wild goose chases.

I love how your types come in how and try to convince us that the Bible does NOT say what it ACTUALLY says.

No wonder you guys have some many different churches, you can't agree on what god means in the Bible!

  • Are you kidding me? Types? You're labeling me? All I have to say is that you fear knowledge other than what you already know. Your Brainwashed... its common. Anyways, mr olo, did you talk to a Jewish teacher like I asked you? Do you fear what you might find out? I'm merely helping you expand your knowledge and you just mock me. truly you are simple minded and I'm a fool to educate you, because you simply don't care. just keep running in circles my friend - I just assure you that it leads nowhere

  • STOP your whining!

    it gets to be pathetic!

  • Wow... feel threatened now that u can't defend your faith? your denial is pathetic.

  • yeah, I feel so threatened that I have to make up stuff about other religions while avoiding the collapse of my own.

EVANGELISM is going the way of the dinosaur. You probably know more LIES about the Mormons than you know truths about your own religion.

    EVANGELISM is collapsing!

  • Yup, common response to a cornered defenceless person. No, its fine, when something challenges my faith I do research on why that is so. A Majority of mormons don't do their study which shows in their responses. it's ok mr omi. perhaps you would search after Jesus more than your godhood someday. that I pray.

  • yeah, for some reason, I think it is funny that ALL your comments are self serving and try to make YOU in the best light possible while trying to do the opposite with others.

  • perhaps I should be a comedian in Utah then, I'd be rich. Its Ironic that you say that my comments are self serving when I just told you that I recommended you seek Jesus more than your godhood. Its cool tho, I understand that in time the smoke screens will clear and people will see the differences and understand why they are the way they are.

  • 2 Nephi 9:41

"O then, my beloved brethren, come unto the Lord, the Holy One. Remember that his paths are righteous. Behold, the way for man is narrow, but it lieth in a straight course before him, and the keeper of the gate is the Holy One of Israel; and he employeth no servant there; and there is none other way save it be by the gate; for he cannot be deceived, for the Lord God is his name. "

  • 22 For strait is the gate, and narrow the way that leadeth unto the exaltation and continuation of the lives, and few there be that find it, because ye receive me not in the world neither do ye know me. (Doctrine and Covenants 132:19-22) 21 Verily, verily, I say unto you, except ye abide my law ye cannot attain to this glory.

    please read: 2Cr 11:4

  • "2Cr 11:4 "

For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

  • I guess you are going to have to help me with the ANTImormon SPIN....

maybe you should read the first chapter of Galatians and pay attention to the time periods stated!

  • Antimormon spin? HAha you throw that word around like you know what it means. I can say that I believe the bible more than the religion mormonism and you would call me antimormon and SPIN! SPIN SPIN! YAY LOL- hmm I'm going to call you anti Christ since your prophet brought a different Jesus an different spirit just like 2Cr 11:4 says. Lets Spin some more!

  • yeah, I wish I did NOT know what it means.

It sure gives me more appreciation for my Savior who had his share of such who followed Him around, except they were called pharisees.

  • nice! thats how I see Mormons! as pharisees! well with all do respect. what makes your jesus any different than David Korish or Jim jones or mr applewhite or strong city's? they all have this so called Savior - I guess they appreciate their savior too regardless if its the right one or not.

  • why do Mormons follow you around ATTACKING you?

    GOTCHA!

  • Those backsounds were there not when I first time heard this!

  • HOGWASH

  • The sound effects are distracting and annoying...

  • thanks for your video.. could you tell me which volumes or whatever those books you were reading, the full titles. of them.. much appreciated.. My non mormon friends are always coming up with new ways to deny.. would be nice to have more proof for them, though the proof they have seen would convince anyone in their right mind anyhow thanks

  • So let me get this straight, you can prove the Book of Mormon to be false....but you can prove a book that has a dude living in the belly of a fish to be TRUE?! You're ALL nuts....get out of your barn...do some hiking, biking...just do something, anything

  • try reading the book of mormon cover to cover for yourself. it is to the convincing of the jew and Gentile that jesus is the christ, resurrected and manifests unto all nations.

  • AP on my mission, BYU grad, married in the temple...had my name removed 4 years ago....Hebrews didn't come in boats and submarines to the Americas to settle large cities....I hear a lot of you guys talk about truth and such...I've found that my friends who REALLY search for it, always end up leaving the church...as soon as DNA studies of native Americans became available, most of the rest of my family actively or passively left...if you're truly smart and educated, you'll do the same

  • I am no scientist, but I am a historian. We all decend from one common human being and thus we can agrue that our DNA is all derived from one common thread, over time it is mutated, subject to natural selection and changed from age to age. Sometimes begin educated means you are skeptical of scientific evidence. Gallileo did just that by challenging the evidence the scientific community on thier evidence that the sun revolved around the earth which was indisputable. Gallileo was right though.

  • We may have an advanced society, but our scientific system does have its flaws. Often, I find that many who have a predispositioned scientific theory, and are proven wrong in that theory by their own research, they conduct thier study in a manner which if fits thier predispositioned theory becuase they don't want to be wrong. It happens in history, political science, chemistry, biology any academic field you can think of. Fact is, if you believe everything you hear, you are not educated.

  • The search for truth goes way beyond doing research and reading, much of it is critical thinking and examining every facet of the issue at hand. People think they are smart because they read and do research but that is only half of it. You have to ponder it and use critical thinking, a skill which is becoming more and more scarce in people these days.

  • Critical thinking tells me it's impossible for a guy to live in the belly of a fish for three days.....also tells me there is absolutely no factual evidence a bunch of Hebrews sailed to the Americas in boats and submarines, built vast cities, had enormous armies, and then vanished...leaving no trace of their existence...I know Mormons often use Aztec, Toltec, Inca, and Mayan artifacts as "Book of Mormon proof"...but it's just not there..anywhere for the poor damn Mo's..another revision perhaps?!

  • I guess the obvious thing for you to do is continue to keep your fingers in your ears and with your eyes closed...scream, "There IS a Santa Claus"! like a 12 year old...hey, I had to do it for more years than I would have liked, so I can empathize....all I can tell you, having lived in both worlds is it sucks to be you....I'm serious, the feeling from having to ACTUALLY look for truth and finally finding what it isn't, is truly wonderful...and, no, I'm not a born-again..just a true free agent

  • fairmormon . org / Book_of_Mormon_geography / Old_World

    fairmormon . org / Book_of_Mormon_geography / New_World

Great places to start researching. The Book of Mormon IS true. I have done so much research. I know it's true.

There is allot more in that website, friend, God bless

You mock all you want to. D & C 123 the LORD blesses us everytime you do!

Agendas don't reveal truth, but cover the eyes of the people.

The church of Jesus christ is True!

  • What exactly is your research that made you reach your conclusion?

  • Keep quoting other peoples work matter of fact thats all mormons do the conference the books they write is a revolving belt of defense. LDS views based on other LDS people and what they said. Its also funny how they try to get other people to invest money into buying the books . They also rewrite history a little to fit what they are saying. Every conference i have seen is basically a rotating belt of defense and why they personally believe it to be false and what another LDS person said.

  • Through the history of mormonism, mormonism has been persecuted by both unrightious and rightious people. I guess all these comments are worthless to you . keep chasing your tail you dont see us making rants on the internet. I know you take pride in your false priesthood and it probley makes you feel that you are sinless and perfect in a temple. No one is perfect christainity isnt like a game of dungens and dragens you don't have any more authority then anyone else matter

  • Jesus died on the cross to break the old law so that law is written on the hearts and minds of the people.

You might take comfort in having many wives in celestrial heaven and all the sex you want I know that you get aroused by that. I don't take comfort in that I take comfort in that God is the only one God and the only one in control. We can't become Gods I love that, you know why because God is pure love man is imperfect but God loves us so much. Its easy to believe in Jesus Christ

  • Heaven and hell do exist but we choose where to go it is much easier then you think to get to heaven. Hell is something that is just as real as heaven is and the fact that you think that the bottom celestrial glory is hell is false. Hell is a very real and the descriptions make it clear is a place of torment. Basically you are saying that God is a lier that hells description in the bible is false. That heaven is something more materialistic.

  • Joseph smith chose 2 lanuages he knew no white person (he was trying to fleece) would understand. No one but him ofcourse...
