Great video! I've been wanting to find the best conditioners for detangling 4b/4c hair, and you are just breezing through. Are there anymore that you would recommend on a lower price range? Thanks and be blessed
Your videos have been soooo helpful to me. I have the same hair type as you, but my hair is fine. I have been combing and treating my hair very badly. I've been natural for 2 years 1 month, and I dont have half the amount of growth to show for that time. I am now getting in tune with the natural hair care methods and your methods are so practical and easy to DIY. Thank you for sharing, and I will be following your journey to help me to continue on. God bless you and your hair chronicles.
@polarBEAR819 I've never heard of this personally. When it comes to detangling, there is no such thing as too much conditioner in my book. I think that might be a myth.
i needed to see this video here, i subscribed off of this vid alone lol. I have the hardest time detangling my 4a, b, c all that hair and honestly I know I dont have patience but i also didnt know how to do it properly, i was about to go back to da creamy crack cuz the knots and tangles were driving me crazy. so i will try lots of conditioner and lots of patience and see how that works for me. thanks a lot for this vid
I am sooo happy I found someone like you, a combination of 4b, who is up on youtube! It is very encouraging for people like me who have your hair texture which seems to be a little bit underrepresented on youtube. Thanks! :)
@lakiva743 I feel you! I would love to see more combination 4 ladies doing videos, cuz what works for other types definitely may not work for our hair type. Thanks for the comment.
I APPRECIATE THIS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCh...now when you started putting the product in your hair was it soaking wet or did it start to dry after you shampooed..... You dont understand how happy i am from seeing this was ready to put a relaxer in
i have 4b, 4a, and a lil 3c hair...and 4a for me is the easiest ta detangle...you might think that the pattern is looser so its automatically easier...nuh huh...lol...my 4b and 4a may tangle...but my 3c mats up into big curls with tangles inside...its crazyy...
I appreciate this vid tremendously! I have thick coily type hair and needed to see a better detangling technique than what I currently use.
Do you notice small cirles in your brush or sink from detangling? I guess my minset was so trained to "relaxer shedding" being the straight strands? Is this normal...lol, the "o, o, o's"??
lol yea I call it the white ppl brush too...lol not to offend anybody.. but you know... I have 4C...if there is a D I got it... I dnt have any curls that really show up.. but yea love ur detangling techq.
Thanks for the video, great one. My hair type is 4b/c but it is fine but it looks thick. I have the worse time trying to detangle my hair. On my hair care day I just tell my husband I'm doing my hair and he knows he's on his own LOL,
absolutely!! you said it *take your time* :) my hair is 4a mostly 4b textured & I love it!! I find when I detangle slowly I hardly have any hair in the denman brush. great video!!
thanks for sharing how you detangle your hair. Its nice to know how other people do it.I also get stressed with the knots in my hair but am going to try and adopt your patient attitude to hair

@biggtee1982 You can always use cheap suave conditioner and mix honey and extra virgin olive oil with it. I do this and it works just as good.

How often do you wash your hair and which brand of shampoo do you use.
ebochica 1 year ago
Do you rinse out the conditioner? I have a problem that if I detangle and then rinse my hair still tangles a bit.
Ambrosia2585 1 year ago
@Ambrosia2585 yes, I rinse out the conditioner. try doing a prepoo or hot oil treatment first to prevent tangling.

How much of each product did you use in your detangling/conditioner mix? I need
kandikane5 1 year ago
@kandikane5 I just eyeball it. Normally a tablespoon of the oils and about a cup or two of the conditioners.
