come on guys listen 2 it, it's not eddie singing but playing guitar. chuck foreman does vocals on this 1.chuck made fantastic quality recordings and cant b compared 2 elvis live hayride cut.
@johnnyweep59 - It was written by Rudy Jackson, a member of the San Bernardino, California-based rhythm and blues vocal group, the Jewels. The Charms covered the song that same year (1955), which went to the top of the R&B charts. Most DJ's at the time also thought The Charms did the original version. Eddie's version is nice, but I prefer The Jewels & The Charms (equally great).
Yes there is a version by Elvis, maybe from the Louisiana Hayride shows...like any early Elvis live performance, the sound quality isn't good, but hey, it's still Elvis.
Maybe not 14, but he began playing guitar at a very young age. His first non professional recordings date back to when he was 15-16, and then he was quickly hired in a studio as a session guitarist...
Quero um amor tão meigo quanto essa música... Que delícia!

And thanks!

Elvis did indeed perform live a version during the sun years but the sound quality left a lot to be desired. In other words... IT SUCKED !!!!
Best one was by John Fogerty in 1973.

The country side of EDDIE is lively, but he has good rock guitar work!
